Cool set. The historical introduction is accurate, the gear and outfit look accurate/plausible enough (and certainly not so over-the-top fantasy as what we normally get from TBLeague); the tunic under the armor seems a little off from what I can see. Technically speaking, using the M34 (I think) body is probably making him quite a bit more muscular than he would have been, and he was known for being somewhat short (so maybe M33 would have been a more appropriate choice). The head with "real" hair is nicely done, although I suspect an Eurasian version of James Franco is even more of a stretch than a bleached Colin Farrell. Smile I think I might get this figure, even if I already have the previous Alexander figure (by Dragon).

PS This one seems to be partly based on an ARH sculpture. You can see one for sale on eBay here:

The pteruges (groin flaps) are wrong; those would not provide much protection! But I quite like the overall look of him.

It is based on the costume that Farrell wore in Stone's Alexander so TBL didn't do any historical research of their own. Luckily the makers of that movie made a decent attempt to represent historical costumes and sets. It is far from perfect but, for TBL, it isn't too bad at all.

No, that looks like it is based on Brad Pitt's appearance as Achilles in the movie Troy. Pangaea made a jointed action figure of that.

Here is Colin Farrell in Alexander. TBL's version of the costume is a pretty good likeness. I think they were right to use a sleeveless tunic rather than the long-sleeved one in this photo.

Unlike Stone's Alexander, none of the armour in Troy is even close to what was being worn in the region at the alleged time of the attack described in the Iliad.

Great Figure, thanks for sharing. I like him. There´s a good balance between Body and Head / helmet. HS is fine with the Hair. OK, it´s not a C. Farell likeness. If this was a bash of mine, i will choose a slim TBL Body, but come on he is a Hero Very Happy
The Helmet is great, not so bulky like other figure helmets. But they made the red tuft so great, why not two real feathers left and right ? So i have to give the helmet a 9 / 10 Laughing

IMO it is good that it doesn't look like Farrell. He wasn't a very convincing Alexander. Agreed that a slimmer (and shorter) body would be better.
