Nice set. Looks spot on, at least from some angles. Would be nice to pair him up with the Jango figures already out there (I think there's more than one).

Never saw the movie, but the head sculpt seems a bit off. If that isn't a big concern, the rest of it looks nice for what it is. (I lost all interest in Tarentino movies -- the guy needs an editor to tell him when his movies are getting boring; all that unnecessary dialogue that has absolutely nothing to do with the plot needs to go. I didn't mind it in movie like Reservoir Dogs, but now that his arrogance lets him believe every movie he makes needs to be well over 3 hours... No thanks. I haven't seen one of his films since the highly overrated Inglorious Bastards).

I have seen this one and it was pretty good, though as usual in such cases, probably not quite as good as it was hyped up to be. Leonardo made an interesting antagonist. I agree that from some angles it is a little off (and perhaps he was not at his most recognizable as that character to begin with), but from others it looks very good. For some reason I have never quite managed to watch Reservoir Dogs from beginning to end. I enjoy Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill movies, although I think they are overrated, but I really don't care for Inglourious Basterds (and its "whimsically" misspelled title), which is what might be called superficial revenge porn.

Django Unchained could be considered 'Revenge Porn' as well in its own way, though I did find it a lot more compelling than Inglourious Basterds. My favourite part in the latter was the scene toward the end of the burning down the cinema set to Bowie's 'Cat People' [mainly cause I love Bowie and that song, lol]...the rest of the movie was kind of forgettable. I did really enjoy most of Django Unchained on the other hand... and especially liked the fact that the titular was actually allowed to rescue his lady-love. That is a trope that is so often *subverted* in media these days, that actually seeing it traditionally played out [but with non-traditional characters] was very satisfying for me.

Regarding the likeness, I do agree it's off but still enough there to be recognizable as what it is.
