Inspired from a comic book character I found quite interesting.
His name is Jeb Lee and he is one of Apocalypse's final horsemen called Famine.

Here's my take on the two page panel above from 2011.
(Originally he was a confederate spy disguised as a union drummer but I had to do a swap of sides as I could only find the confederate uniform at the time.)

WIPS
DRUM
Scratch built a drum for Jeb.
Used what I had so it's not the best looking drum  Crying or Very sad

DIORAMA
Used jute as long grass similar to the comic panels and I wanted to show the grass around Jeb rotting as he walked by hence the two toned colour.

Gif just for fun Neutral

That's all folks and thanks for dropping !

Absolutely wonderful work.

I can only imagine that a real-life Jeb would not be such a popular person, but your figure of him certainly should be. It's excellent in every detail.

Thank you for showing us.

Freakin awesome! The effect with the withered grass is so damn cool! Genuinely eerie figure. Now I want to hunt up that X-men plotline.

Jeb's first appearance was in Uncanny X-Force just in case you're looking.

Thank you teamweapon and just like you, I have that same ball of mess. I just cut short strands and unravel them into thinner strands so they're easier to manage.

Yes - there was a lot of cutting, straightening and gluing involved and it did not seem to end !!
