Beautiful statues, for sure. Somehow the red looks a bit unrealistically bright to me, but I am by no means a horse expert.

Sorry , these are a mess. The anatomy of the back end in particular makes them look as though they are about to collapse, having already been shot ! Sculpted by someone who appear not to have seen a real horse.

Yeah, they’re conformational wrecks. :/ I don’t understand why 1/6 scale horses are always so horrendous! I’d love to see Breyer do some horses in this scale - they did a foal but that’s not really much use for riding! XD

The thought occurs that they have spread out the back legs to make it more stable, since it's freestanding. If you have one leg raised , there's always a problem of keeping the model from falling over. There's no absolute solution apart from gluing the thing to a base.

Probably wouldn't be very stable with a rider on it.
