Hmmm, I keep looking at these and can't decide whether they are horrible or full potential. The skeletons, while tallish, and seemingly a tad comical, might possibly work in and of themselves. The brains are just silly. Some of the helmets, armor, weapons, etc., in some cases might be useful for other figures and kitbashes. My favorite piece by far is the Egyptian battle axe, which seems to be based on that of Nebpehtyre` `Ahmose, who defeated the Hyksos to unify Egypt and (in modern terms) inaugurate the 18th Dynasty and the New Kingdom c. 1525 BC.

I think the body has potential (minus the weirdly proportioned skull) and the armour and stuff could be useful if parted out.

I hope the improved skeletons are really much much better than the v1.0 ones.
I would like them to make them of plastic/resin again.

I like the conquistadores stuff

I like the imagination of the accouterments but I don't trust the underlying skeletons  -- once burned, twice shy from the previous version (which was v2 I guess, with the plastic ones being V1 and these V3).

Really weird design choice on those conspicuous screws and joints, which they don't even try to paint over.  I guess they want us all to see how much they are a new design.  I guess those visible screws would make sense if these were supposed to be a 1/6 repro of a lab/hospital classroom demo skeleton, but they make no sense for Harryhausen-y mythical warriors.

Big other question is the height, compared to the huge height fumble of the previous version.  They were so short that when they sold them off with LaMuerta, they had to deceptively pose them on top of 1 1/2 " rocks to avoid them looking like children next to her.  GF finds these tallish while I am still worried they might be too short again.  Part of my concern is that the measurement pics are none too clear where exactly the 290mm line falls -- could mean anywhere from the top of the skull to the overall top of the whole ruler, with probably a full inch of uncertainty.

Some of the armor would look better if it was old/weathered, makes more sense for an undead skeleton, in my opinion.

i also thought these looked less realistic than previous skeletons they have made.
and for the price they could have at least made little bungs for the screw holes. i mean they would be easy enough to cover your self but thats not the point for the price point these are on.
