Beautiful sequence of shots! Like a small part of the film itself.

While looking at the glorious detail, I did spot something that gives me trouble. Unless your source material itself was flawed*, the advertisement on the wall should read "l'amie de l'estomac" instead of "l'amie de lestomach". See here:



*While looking for sources, I did come across a couple of images from the movie, and they do seem to contain the erroneous spelling! You've stayed faithful to your source material! I shouldn't be surprised. But now you have a dilemma. HERE is a page with a few snapshots and a discussion of the mistake, which some French-speaker had already discovered and commented on...

Thanks GubernatorFan, I can see what you mean, at first glance it does look like the bottom row of text ends with an H, but I'm sure it's just a couple of dirty streaks on the poster

Man, that's deeply cool, Peter.

Great sculpt to work with, too, as his expression seems to change with a tilt of the body. Looking up - showing pain; looking down - great concern.

Brilliant.

Really glad you made time for this one. It turned out mighty well, indeed.

Whoah! That is super cool. Now, I'm going to have to watch that movie again. It's been so long. Great set-up as usual, Peter. Excellent touches with the painted backdrop and posing.
