Nice to see them adding new products. I remember reading that some of these colors have been changed since the previous releases, so proceed with caution.

The black skin is new! I can now look forward to matching it to some of my HS like Halle Berry!

I hope it works. But we won't know until someone actually tried is out in real life. Smile

For 'European' read porn star. Study anatomy and produce a real female body and not a humanised Barbie!

Another of my hobbies is 3D computer art, I mainly used products from a company called Daz. Basically you get a free 3D program and basic a set of figures that you can pose and add textures, hair and clothes to (you buy those). In the early days a lot of the bodies looked like these do. You had to buy loads of products to get the bodies to look right. Several generations down the line and they are getting there but still haven't quite perfected the female bodies.

Most of the male bodies you see look right, but, why can they not seem to do the same with the female ones!?

CHEERS!

They are available for pre-order at BBTS, but their are 5 instead of 4 and which is Suntan and which is pale? BS-01 or PS. What does the abbreviation mean?

Many retailers make the mistake of not providing the specific model description/label in their listings, and BBTS might be guilty of that. It should have been obvious. You might be safer with eBay sellers. As a guess (don't hold me to it), PS might be pale skin, BS might be black skin. Maybe. Ideally, look up the Chinese glyphs on the box and compare to the ones in the TBLeague/Phicen or Jiaou post we have on here.

Just got the PS version from bbts, going to get the BS01 and do a review and contrast some time in the future. I thought PS was darker.

NOTE: made a mistake No

Edit what I posted earlier because I was checking the heads in white lighting, Waiting for daylight again to do the review (doing paperwork), here is body PS with Galaxy soldier head in natural daylight at 0912HR on the first photo:

body - NEW PRODUCT: Seamless Female Action Figure (JOQ-10E series) by Jiaou Doll (5 skin tones) (NSFW!!!!!!) Ls7rM3S

The problem is on the IPhone with the first photo, original settings auto blends the two colors in morning daylight as well as photographing with Daylight White Lightbulbs, when the head does not match the body. I had to adjust to dramatic or vivid to show the off balance in the two last photos

I also found out so far: Wonder Woman (both BVS and JL), HT Maria Hill, HT Pepper Potts, TBL Vampirella, TBL Cowgirl, TBL Mercy Dante, TBL Fighter Woman, Lady Bat Do not match.

This body does match Head Huntress, Tricity, and Iron Man 2 Black Widow

Captain Sparta, Red Sonja V1, Red Sonja V2 kind of match but only due to the way the head has a grey airbrush color on the cheeks.

I also ordered another European Jaiou, the YS jaiou body color from Giantoy site($49.99 plus free S+H) to see if it matches early tan Phicens (Artist Interpretation Huntress, Red Riding Hood, Female Agent)

If it helps any, I own a few of these 'European Models' now, so I can offer the following information:

First off, there are actually more than just five skintones, but some are harder to get hold of than others. These tones are also mostly available with the older ('Asian', as they call them) models of Jiaou body, but these skintones are also sometimes variants on those older models despite being described as the same, and where I know this I've noted it (I don't own White, Pink or Black in this model as the older models in those tones weren't easy to find heads for and I don't want to risk it with these). Even with all this confusion, the variety of Jiaou's skintone options remains their big selling point, I think - provided you can figure it all out.

JOQ-10E-BS   Wheat Skin (paler and slightly more 'orangey' than their original Wheat tone - seemingly a subtle blend of original Wheat and Natural - some sellers call it 'tan' or 'suntan')
JOQ-10E-YS    Natural Skin (seems slightly darker than older versions, some sellers call this tone 'yellow' or 'normal')
JOQ-10E-WS   White Skin (this should actually be called 'Deathly White' in my opinion - some sellers call this 'pale' or - irritatingly - 'natural' or 'normal' to confuse things even further)
JOQ-10E-BM    Brown Skin (more dark yellowish than brown, this is a good match for some of those old yellowy-brown Kumik heads you might have lying around)
JOQ-10E-PM    Pink Skin
JOQ-10E-PS    Black Skin
JOQ-10E-KT also known as KT004   KT00- Skin (specially-formulated tone to match the Kumik Kimi Toys KT series head sculpts)

There are also two new tones specific to this model, described by Jiaou as 'compatible' to TBLeague pale and suntan bodies. They aren't, exactly, but in some cases they are a better match for TBLeague heads than TBLeague's own bodies.

JOQ-10E-BS01  New Wheat Skin (darker, more 'tanned' than original Wheat tone - seemingly a blend of Wheat and KT. A kind of more 'lifelike' version of TBLeague Suntan)
JOQ-10E-WS01 New White Skin (slightly pinker, more 'caucasian' than original Jiaou White - seemingly a blend of White, Natural and Pink. Annoyingly though some sellers don't seem to realise this is different to 'white' and simply refer to it as 'white'. Again, this is a more 'likelike' version of TBLeague's Pale)

All very confusing, but I hope it helps.

All in all, you don't really need every one of these, just one or two carefully chosen ones. The 'porn star' body shape does get a bit boring if you've got an army of them, to be honest. It'd be more interesting if they produced a future variant on this as a plumper body type with a more realistically-proportioned waist and bust. The two new skintones are a very welcome addition to Jiaou's colour palette, though.

PS: The D or E at the end of the model serial number denotes whether the body has attached or detachable feet or not - you can work out which from the photos. I favour the connected feet even if they do have the usual stability issues, purely because the other model has an ugly 'join' in the silicone moulding between the breasts for some reason (possibly something they'll fix with later production batches).

Welcome aboard, geewillikers. One small correction, however: the KT004 isn’t a Kumik, but a Kimi Toys.

Ah, thanks for the welcome. And yeah, slip of the mind, there, and I thought it'd be the serial numbering where I'd foul up... Smile

Thank you for your break down, GeeWillikers. We all perceive colors slightly differently (at least in theory), but I'd like to note that the difference between the original 3.0 female "wheat" and KT skin tones was extremely minute. So the new "wheat" is even closer to KT? From other descriptions I thought they had made it a bit lighter, if anything.

I only own one of each in this model, so I can't say with 100% certainty if it's set in stone or just specific to the initial production run, but (in hand, at least) the two I have are now very close but still perceptively different (in that the same head would match one body better than the other, even if you can't exactly pinpoint why). We're getting into very subtle shading and hue-ing here, but it seems more the case that what Jiaou is still calling 'wheat' is now very slightly paler but slightly more 'orangey' than before, while their 'new wheat' is darker but less 'orangey'.  But as I say it's very subtle, and of course photographing them under varying light conditions renders all of the above definitions even more fluid.

I think Jiaou could just as easily have called 'new wheat' 'new KT' for what it's worth, but as they were marketing the tone as their answer to TBL's suntan, they've gone for 'new wheat' because of the general 'is it wheat or is it suntan... or is it just tan?' confusion that many retailers still seem to labour under when selling these bodies.

But I could just be thinking that from the rabbit hole I've fallen into trying to make sense of all this. Wink

EDIT: Hmm, having just compared the new KT 'Euro' body side-by-side with the single older KT body I already own (something I hadn't done already, oddly), it seems that the new one is actually a little lighter than the older one...

Of course, I guess Jiaou could have just tweaked the tone as they love to do, or I could've even been sold either a mislabelled New Wheat or KT here. The trouble with Jiaou Dolls is that unless you can translate the Chinese serial on the box you receive you never know for sure. Unfortunately I don't tend to keep the boxes for base bodies.

Wah, now my head hurts.
