This guy looks familiar! Smile I didn't know Facepool did entire sets -- been focusing so much on their animated faces.

this one does look very promising. I noticed Facepool delve into complete figures with a female Russian spetznaz

Seeing the level of quality on capt Miller I hope they carry on and bring the whole squad to life, especially Reiben and Mellish!!!

wow, thats a really good miller! i'm impressed with this one, but it has been done before. if they did the rest of the squad, that would really be impressive. interesting to see where this leads for sure.

It's not the best Tom Hanks I've seen, but it's not the worst. This is Capt Miller from Saving Private Ryan.

Hi, guys new here. something off about the head and the m1 helmet isn't up to par. i will probably get him in the end but the figure is not quite right..my cents.

Hi Miguel, glad you could finally make it over. In the OP, the manufacturer claims they will correct helmet size (we’ll see, right...). The face is a bit pudgier than Hanks was at the time, but overall not too too bad (maybe that’ll get changed, as well).

I think the materials chosen for the chin straps on the helmet make it look worse too as they seem to accentuate the width too much.
It needs more texture on it too.

I was wondering whether the helmet wasn't a tad big (which is a common enough problem with products in this scale), and am glad to see that this was indeed what was wrong with it. And yes, the face sculpt is a little bit off, but since the product is not explicitly claiming to be Tom Hanks, I thought that was passable.

Received my Captain Miller today from OSK. The likeness is really good imho. The helmet is diecast metal. The underlying body has some pretty crap ankles, and the wrist socket is unlike anything I've seen before; the wrist pegs and hands are typical of pretty much every company, but the wrist peg has an additional "cup" inside the forearm into which the wrist pegs go. The gators are so intricate, I didn't want to mess with them to take a look and see if I couldn't do something about the loose ankles. Aside from putting him altogether, I didn't do much else to him. He'll have to use the stand, which can be hidden (with effort) under his shirt and the vest -- it's a waste grabber. The base itself is really cool, with some nice rubble details, and is actually pretty heavy (much like the TBLeague bases if any of you have experience). Overall, I'm pretty happy with him.

Some quick pics outside before it rains again.

Hmmm, I'm not feeling that myself. The HS looks like one they borrowed compared to the expression ones they do, there doesn't look to be the same quality there. I think DID have done another Miller recently, or at least someone has, and I felt it looked better.

As first figures go I guess it's ok. I suppose other things they've done look better because they're on bodies with better gear from other companies.

If I wanted a Miller, I don't think this would be it
