Very nice set. Is that the first female HALO figure in this scale?

I do believe it is, but PitViper would know better than I. The Kristen Stewart-ish HS bothers me a little -- but mainly because I'm not a fan. I guess if it's all covered up it won't really matter, anyway.

I was wondering it is her (also not a fan), but if I went for it, I would console myself that it doesn't look exactly like her.

I don't know anything about these kinds of figures, but it does seem quite detailed. 

The headsculpt is indeed kinda.... ehhhh. Though to me it looks more like it's trying to be Emma Watson than Kristen Stewart. Not a huge fan of either of them, myself.

This may very well be my first Mini Times figure.  I've read elsewhere that the brand is plagued with quality issues so I'm not going to say it's a definite buy.  Would need to see some feedback on it once the figure is released before I decide.

Having said that, this is a nice release.  The uniform and helmet seem to fit well, the vest and pouches look well-made, and the rifle appears quite decent.  This figure is the first female SEAL (if such a thing existed in the real world) and the first HALO female parachutist.  Years ago Hot Toys did a female USMC paratrooper (USMC 3rd Force Service Support Group) but it was a static-line parachute, not free-fall.  If I buy this I'd ditch the parachute anyway; I've never liked them on my figures

As far as the head, I can't see Kristen Stewart there (sorry Stryker 2011), and I'm glad I don't since I'm most definitely not a fan.  If anything there might be some of Miss Watson's likeness.

All in all, it's a big maybe for me.  Will have to wait for the jury's verdict...

Nice figure for what it is.  I can see Emma Watson in there too but not Kirsten Stewart.  The hair looks horribly sculpted and painted to my eye, and what is with the fairly intense sheen in the skin tones??

There is not much in this gear wise that has not been done before by other brands that I can see, with maybe the exception that some elements are sized differently for a female figure.  Its all pretty much regular SEAL fare from what I can see, and certainly nothing I would get excited over or want to buy.

I think if they want to sell product then they have to be a bit more imaginative than simply sticking a female doll in a traditionally male outfit. Its not even a new concept anymore as plenty of other firms have done similar already.  

Just my opinion.

lol, wonder what ms. watson would think. anyway, nice to see someone do a female seal team member. nice that female figures of this kind are coming into their own in a big way. as for it being said that mt is plagued with qc issues, i am curious.

Wanted to give the HS a try as Machinegun parted it out and gave some better pictures along than the promo. And I have to say, I like it. Makes a good lady knight.

Could also use it on a more modern setting, giving a serious trouble look...

That's a great finding, Suo76. This HS really upgrades a knight figure, giving her a more fierce look, without makeup, fitting of a real fighter. Thanks for sharing the tip.

This HS would be perfect for Cassandra, from Dragon Age. Just need to paint the hair black and add a scar on the cheek, et voilà.

I got the Minitimes Female SWAT version and gotta say the quality was hit and miss. The detail is there, but some of the parts break off or don't stick together. I got mine for just 100Cad so it was a steal but I'm hesitant to recommend it. Proceed with caution.
