NEW PRODUCT: DiD: D80137 SS Obersturmbannführer Kurt Meyer

Panzer Kurt Meyer “Panzer Meyer” (23 December 1910 – 23 December 1961）was a high-ranking officer in the Waffen-SS of Nazi Germany who commanded SS Division Hitlerjugend during World War II. He participated in the Battle of France, Operation Barbarossa, and the Battle of Normandy, among others, and was a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. In course of the war, Mayer came to be regarded as capable military commander, but also earned notoriety for ordering the mass murder of civilians and prisoners of war.

6 years later today, we are releasing the NEW Kurt Meyer. In this version, we have also included 2 brand-new super realistic headsculpts. One is the classic strict face and the other one is a smiling face with mustache, both of them are very iconic!
The new reversible panzer combi is specially designed for him based on historical info. You could DIY at least two different styles with it.
The jackboots are made of GENUINE LEATHER for the FIRST TIME which highly improve the durability.

Those are a whole lot of Meyers. I suppose it does mark someone as psycho when they can smile so sweetly and do the things they do. But I do love the boots and the sweater.

He does look very creepy! DID have really come into their own now. Their HS's have always been impressive, but, since introducing the All Era body they've never looked back. If I were to collect stuff like this then these guys would be high on my list. Consistently impressive.

Dunno if some of you guys had a chance to watch "welcome to Marwen" but in the movie the main bad guy is a german officer named Kurt, from the package to the figure it's such a perfect tribute to the DID brand, and here they come with the real Kurt Meyer!

If only they could make us a captain Hogie portrayed by Steve Carell I would get both!
