Very cool stuff. There really are many little changes that are easy to miss. Your post helps point all this out. I have to say, they all look great! My late friend also liked to have fun with the Stormtroopers.

That is one of your many great traits and virtues. Dare one ask what happened to him?

Thank you bounce

Sadly Nicked passed away after a few bouts with cancer  Sad . In my opinion he was probably one of the best 1/6 figure photographers. I think it was his sense of fun that really set him as such an influence bounce bounce bounce

Flickr have granted his flickr In Memoriam status, so his pics will be there for everyone to enjoy bounce

So very sad. I can only suppose (and hope) that his amazing collection and what he did with it in terms of customization, posing, stories, photos, dioramas, served as a welcome and effective distraction, providing much needed amusement and a measure of happiness. It certainly does that to us, and I'm happy to see his work (and influence) live on.

He actually has quite a bit of Star Wars stuff, sometimes mixed in with figures from other sources. I especially enjoyed this one:

That is the case with almost all of his scenes. Check out the link provided by BAM/Dal above.

Very Happy Very Happy Nick had a great knack of mixing things up and still managing to make you smile. It's a shame his comic stories were lost when the webpage he had disappeared, but at least we have his flickr Very Happy .
The sad thing was, up until his last eighteen months he was fighting fit and posted regularly, If you check his post dates you can see huge gaps in between his posts.
He has so many great pics I could never really pick a fave Laughing . It's was actually Nick that got me started in 1/6 and encouraged me to build the Ammo Arms bounce bounce bounce

The truth is that I never really knew about Nick (consciously anyway) until Dal told us when he first joined here. But his work is absolutely phenomenal. Dal, I thought your bar reminded me a little of his establishment, so I'm not surprised. Of course, you have gone a different way with many details, which really enhance the realism of the place.

Back to Nick, here are a few more of his Star Wars-related photos I really like, but of course he has tons more on flickr.

So much for the prime directive, I guess... Smile

Sure. Blame the victims. Or f*** the police! At any rate, rules are supposed to apply only to the others. Right? Wink

Excellent observation! The original Miskatonic Nick caption read "The Emperor was not impressed."

Nice! And probably speaks for his pictures, well done if watchers can sense what he wanted to show. Smile
