On the subject of Australia and slow post because of COVID-19, i am beginning to understand.
I picked up an art print from an ebay seller located in Australia

It has now been 11 days since 'Processed by air carrier', and no movement?
The issue appears to involve lack of planes. This is something i never understood. I get why COVID-19 hit planes when it came to carrying people. Why should parcel's be affected? Maybe since lockdown, people are placing more orders online.

It is now 2nd September 2020
23 Aug 2020 - Processed by air carrier
21 Aug 2020 - Cleared and awaiting international departure
20 Aug 2020 - Received by Australia Post
20 Aug 2020 - Tracking number provided

Update:
8 extra freighter flights
We’ve chartered eight extra freighter flights to help speed up delivery.

Yeah, I still haven’t received this package yet — stuck somewhere in transit. Aussie post claims it’s in the US, but they don’t have a tracking number for either the sender or me — total BS.

No tracking number?
Atleast i have a tracking number.
I have a feeling i will receive my art print before you receive your head sculpts.
Your seller should have provided a tracking number, not unless they opted for basic post, which could mean it's on a slow boat.

Lastweek i received a Blu-ray from South Korea. It took about 2 weeks. The thing is, the day the Blu-ray arrived, the tracking number thought the parcel was still in South Korea?
I just looked on ebay, and checked the tracking number, and it states 'delivered'. It seems slightly ass-about-face lol!

I will if I can find someone. The guy that did Logan isn’t doing commissions anymore.

Oh, yay, glad it arrived safely! And seems like it turned out really well -- looking forward to seeing how it looks painted. Smile

(on a side-note..)
My parcel from Australia has landed in the UK
Australia - UK has taken 19 days. I guess the Aussie postal system issues are being resolved.
All i have to wait for now is for the UK customs to clear the parcel, which can be slow.

UPDATE: The art print arrived today on 12th September 2020
All in all, not bad.

I put this image together, to show to a potential painter.
I have to admit, i thought maybe the hair on the top of the portrait could have had more lift.
Maybe 3mm

I found a video that might be of interest to some.

Logan's Run Behind the Scenes Costumes
https://youtu.be/Z9v2_YBY_D0

Jessica's green outfit changes a number of times, and there appears to be 2 or 3 green variations. While i have watched Logan's Run a number of times on Vhs, Dvd and Blu-ray, i never paid that much attention to the number of green dress variations.

I have been looking into figure heights. The Phicen/TBLeague S26A could be the one to go for. Or the S27B if you want Suntan

Jenny Agutter height 5' 7"inches = 170.18 cm

Phicen/TBLeague S26A (Pale Medium/Removable Feet/Slender & shorter 27cm)

27cm x 6 = 162cm

Once the head sculpt is added should take the figure to slightly above the correct height.

Oddly enough, I used a WorldBox A020 body for my Logan (which is on the tall side for action figure bodies); Michael himself is only about 3 1/2 " taller than her, so I used the S19B TBL body for her which makes her about the right height next to him.

That makes sense.

I wonder if TBL will ever look into:
Seamless wrists?
Small (flatter) than medium breast size?
Less pronounce (flatter) backside?

..as some Kitbasher's want to create other types of looks.

Did another calculation, and must have had a moment when calculating what Phicen/TBLeague to pick up.
I went for the PLMB2017-S27B Suntan with a height of 23.5cm (26cm once the head sculpt is added).

Jenny Agutter height 1.7m (170cm)
Divided by 6 = 28.33cm

The ideal Phicen/LBLeague would be 26cm high.

Update: The website i purchased the body from stated that the height was 26cm high.

Unpainted and together like this they almost look like pieces of (neo)classical sculpture.

Started work painting them after watching tutorials on Youtube. I already have some acrylic paints so I went with that medium. The tutorial I decided to follow suggested starting with painting everything black, and then layering from there. So, I painted the heads with successive layers of black paint, thinned with water to keep the bulk down. One thing I did learn was that I should have washed the sculpts off before painting. There were certain areas where the paint would not stick. I have read that there can be remaining residue on 3D printed or resin elements and it's a good idea to wash them well before painting. It cost me a layer of paint to have to wash the sculpts off after the first coat, thereby losing that coat, but subsequent coats lay down fine. It took about 5 coats to completely conceal the resin.

Since I'm using acrylics I used a blowdryer to dry all the black layers and was immediately able to start putting down color layers. I downloaded screen shots and behind-the-scenes pictures of the characters for reference. This was how the sculpts looked when I finished up for the evening. I drybrushed color on the strands of hair: a brown mix for the Jessica sculpt and raw umber for Logan.

Further along painting. I've put more detail on the Jessica than the Logan so far. It took longer to get in around all the delicate hair elements around the ears. I also need to remain cognizant that I shouldn't be adding a lot of layers that will add bulk to the sculpts. It's also quite difficult to keep the brushes as pointy as possible to keep the area being panted as small as is necessary.

Logan's Run: Logan 5 & Jessica 6 (both head sculpts) - Page 4 5_jess10

Here's where I have stopped on the Jessica figure for the evening. The lines in the hair were looking pretty harsh, but I put a gel transparency coat over it and that helped meld the paint lines together better. It's hard to see here, but I even have some tooth-color white paint on the teeth between the open lips. When the skin color is to my liking I will go back in around the edges of the hair and cover over the paint that's almost impossible for me not to get on the edges of the hair. The tutorial I followed suggested getting silly putty to spread on where you don't want paint transfer to happen.

Progress on Logan. I had gotten the skin color on, and started on the eyes, when I realized I had made the skin too pale. I put a wash over the skin to bring the lightness down and tomorrow I will layer the skin color up again. It looks dirty now but I'm not leaving it that way. Pretty happy with the eyes so far. The second picture shows how well the transparent overlay on the hair has worked to bring the colors together. I think I will get two real transparent overlay paint, one for the blond hair and one for the brown. By the way, did I mention how awesome these sculpts are? Thank you.

These heads are in high demand it seems. Still have to watch the movie, haha. Intresting technique with the shiny hair.
And yes, 'in between' shots when head painting can be scary, sometimes they look like pale or burned zombies until they are finished.

Layering the way you are doing it is the best way I find to do realistic skin tones. One thing I find intrusive on most painted sculpts is how folks think they need to add highlights and lowlights to skin — if you layer the skin correctly, dark to light, with thinned paint, the “skin” should have enough “translucency” to allow natural light to give the same effect — and, to my eyes anyway, looks natural enough under changing, or any, light conditions. “Makeup”, and highlights in hair, are a completely different matter.

I like the colors used on her mouth.
The pupil on the right side (left eye) could use some re positioning. I am known for being hyper picky when it comes to eye's. I used decals, and still wasn't happy.
