I think she is magnificent! If I was to get her I would definitely be getting the deluxe version.

The whole thing is indeed great, but I absolutely love those clawed/monster hands.... I would definitely get them parted out.

OSK has this up (I'm sure others will follow suit shortly): Standard = $130 USD; Deluxe = $173 USD. Man, I love these bootleg companies.

You and me both. Just saw this and I couldn't get this ordered fast enough. I went with GIANT TOY because I had some reward points. The story possibilities are bouncing all around in my head.

both versions listed the attire differently: Body suit vs Tights?? are they the same?

I wonder if i can fit a phicen into it, without tearing it, of course...

The WS003 used a TBL body (either that or they stole the TBL labeled dessicants from their factory lol). So there may be a chance that the body is TBL. Although War Story had great design and aesthetics... Execution was rather sloppy. My WS003 required a bit of fixing right out if the box. Glued parts came undone, bunched clothing, etc.

Thanks. Just took a look and it looks nice, but the suit looks like it might be a challenge to take off if one has no skills.

I especially like the second picture somehow. She looks like an Assassin charakter/Demon Hunter I always wanted to make. Since I'm not into super heroes I don't need her, but good inspiration for a similar character to kitbach (tight body wear, hood, maybe add some armor layers and cape...)

My figure came in today. Overall, very satisfied with it. Here are some in hand pics for reference. I got the deluxe mostly cause i really dig the transforming headsculpt and the shiv or blade that comes with it. Here are some in hand photos.

I know I'm overthinking this, but csyeung's pics really bring home to me why I think that "transforming" head sculpt doesn't work, at all.  For the creepy fantasy to work, you have to assume she shapeshifts or mutates -- eyes become big eyes, teeth becoming Venom's fangs bursting out of her mouth. But her fully closed smiling mouth, and then a separate set of fangs hanging way off her cheek like half a Halloween mask, make her look like an oversimplified Cosplayer.  Like they haven't actually thought through what a transformation would actually look like if the sculpt captured a snapshot of it.

That's fair and I get where you are coming from. There are various ways it's always been illustrated. Transforming from the inside would be more realistic and creepy for sure but also harder to show in a sculpt. Often the symbiote is shown to wrap around the head, which more or less is how it went on Spider-man. In more recent versions, they kinda have it where venom looks like it's eating the head like in the Venom movie.

I was there all the way back to Secret Wars, and I have not forgotten that peculiarly, Venom is a whole bunch of characters whose origin is basically being a Spider-Man variant costume.  So the "wrap around the head" part has always been there.  I don't think it can be the case though that Venom, eyes and fangs and outsized muscles and all, is just an outer shell wrapped around an intact Eddie Brock or Anne Weyling who is just stuffed inside.  And anyway that would be less cool.  So there has to be a transformation.  If the sculpt extended the Fangs slightly further, and opened her mouth slightly so they connected, I think it would have looked creepier, cooler, and preserved a certain fantasy logic.  But I concede there is a certain appeal to preserving her smile.

Saved myself some money and kitbashed this before Hot toys makes it =P.

I got mine yesterday 9/14 and the first thing I did  was check the articulation. Hips would not hold a pose. Everything else was fine, but the hips being loose is a no GO for me. So late last night I did a Tbleague body swap.  I'll post pictures in a new thread in the general discussion page. I'll be happy to tell all.

Whoa, I'd definitely like to see. I noticed the back is stitched up so it's definitely a task!
