With all these different product numbers, I wonder if you are meant to either buy it as a whole set or pick up some items loose. It's great they are offering this, and it looks pretty decent so far. Personally, my experience of this character is tainted beyond repair.

I'm Amazed...by how these makers can get away from using licensed materials...like Steel Man instead of Iron Man???

I am no lawyer but I assume the rights are in the Trademarked wording rather than the specific design of a character?

Either way I like this! I have only the vaguest notion who this character is so she is not tainted for me. I really like her muscular thighs - she looks like a badass.

Technically, a characters design is part of the trademark/copyright. I read up on character design copyright law when I was interested in making comic books. There was a lawsuit a long time ago in regards to a character that had been created that looked a little too much like Superman, and even the colors chosen for the costume became part of the lawsuit — needless to say, that other character vanished pretty quickly. Even names can be contested (just look at Shazam and Captain Marvel. Shazam was created back in the 40s, and he was the ORIGINAL Captain Marvel, but as the character bounced from one company to the other, and Marvel comics created a male character named Captain Mar-vel, and then copyrighted the name Captain Marvel, the original CM had to stop using the name and started using the name Shazam (which was originally just the word he was supposed to call out to turn from teen Billy Bateson into CM).

However, the majority of these bootleg action figure companies are from China, where they’ve never been too keen on following international copyright law — they’ve stolen everything from nuclear technology to toy designs, and they really don’t care, because it’s virtually impossible to sue them. The people who sell these figures on their sites, outside of Asia, are the ones who can get in trouble. You probably won’t find this one advertised on too many well-known sites outside of the Asian markets.

The title of this is hilarious. Also, that neck peg thing is very strange, and unique for a female figure these days.
