I like the plaid skirts, cool detail. And I think they mean this is sixth-scale, not that the female figure would have to be 12 inches tall to pull it off.

I second that, the tartan pattern on the skirt is really well done, gives a lil "refreshing" feel to the set!

The tailoring just seems a bit off on these, like maybe they should have used a thinner fabric with a bit of stretch. As it looks now, it all looks a little stiff, with the waist band of the skirt looking a bit bulky. My 2 cents.

Agree. The weight of the fabric (gsm) is too high for one sixth. In 1:1, something like this would come across as quilted. I do like the plaid though, and it has some nice components.
