It's rare that I'd love every single version of something like that, but this time I do. Just wondering what is "the mainstream body on the market"...

Seems good for Peaky Blinders kitbashes, maybe? Very nice either way...

oh now I love these....all of them in fact. Get some custom sculpts and could totally be better and much cheaper than a certain official one coming out!

That was my thinking, too!

Aside from the number of buttons on the waistcoat, these could easily pass for nice modern-day suits.

indeed! Personally I'm pleased with that retro look that isn't the usual crossed blazer, been waiting for this quite a while, it's gonna be perfect for my "gangster squad" guys and a few others 50-60's projects! But they definitely could fit the 80-90's !

ahbake

the "D" version looks like it could work for a Goldfinger Bond...

This came in yesterday for me and I gotta say it's very well tailored. For some reason I thought PPtoys was short for poptoys. I looked at their website and they didn't have this product listed so I am assuming it's a separate company? I got the A version (black overcoat and black suit)

Anyway here are some quick pics for now, I'll post a video soon as well so you can see it in hand as well.

The shirt and vest are attached via velcro, the necktie uses an elastic. The pocketwatch has a bit of weight. There may be a bit of metal in it, doesn't feel like light plastic. Shoes molded. I presume jacket and overcoat can be buttoned up although i did not try as those buttons are super tiny. Overcoat is wired.

I'm using an Easy and Simple body and head to model the suit. I kinda like it without the jacket and overcoat.

Quick thoughts, very nicely tailored and really can be used as regular suit as well as a retro suit if you wish to fit your kitbash needs. Flatcap fit nicely on my model, but my headsculpt here is a bald head. It does have room for a sculpted hair i think. Jacket and coat are made with a softer material. Getting quite a  bit I think in this set.

Thank you for the photos and the brief review, C. He looks great -- very good choice of body and head for the set. I wonder if PP-Toys is not Pi Pi Toys, which have made clothing sets before -- I used their jeans sets for one of the installments of "Clothing TBLeague seamless bodies."

Looks great! I had thought it was PopToys as well at first glance, as they are known for making nicely tailored 1/6 suits. But either way, seems it turned out well.

I really liked these sets but didn't get one as I wasn't thinking of doing non-SW kitbashes at the time. Now I'm realising that it's not always easy to find nice 1/6 historical outfits for male figures that aren't military based.

Yeah this is always a problem - finding the non military outfits of older times. I like the "Steampunk" "Sherlock Holmes" "Limehouse Golem" "Taboo" Style clothes for kitbashing. I think this one qualifies for any of these eras or themes. And for like 45 Euro I think it is a good deal Wink
Add a good HS and a basic body and you have a great looking figure for like 80-90 Euro which is a bargain by todays standards.

Agree, it's definitely a good deal -- might still pick one up!

Re: historical clothing... I feel that I could make some ancient and medieval garments fairly easily myself, but would prefer to be able to purchase and/or commission 17th, 18th, and 19th century civilian fashions (too lazy to sew them Razz ).

Thanks! Yea these were random parted out pieces I grabbed. My intention was to make some more kitbashes to go with the Lim Toys Gunslinger that I PO'd, but this guy looks like he can be a goon or posse member. I couldn't find too much about PPToys, but their other two offerings were dresses that didn't look they fit as well on the bodies they used. This seems to be an upgrade to their previous offerings. Could totally be PiPi toys as well but looks like they only had those jeans.

I agree, I think I got the parted out body + head sculpt for about 40 USD total.

It's tailored fairly well. Almost as good as Poptoys suit. The one poptoys suit I have seems like it uses a thinner but higher quality material (like a real suit) and ironed so it looks sharper. However the Poptoys suit is a modern suit so that would make more sense.

As promised, here is the youtube video with a closer look at what the set comes with.

You're welcome. Hopefully it's helpful for those who may want to get it for a kitbash.
