I know it's essentially cosplay Boba Fett, but isn't it funny how the classic design keeps an edge over the more recent updates?

I’m not particularly fond of the color scheme — pastels (even muted) are just not my thing — but I don’t have any interest in this at all, so I guess it doesn’t matter. Now if they made Cara or The Armourer, I’d be interested in either/both of those.

Oh I wasn't referring to the colors, just the shapes. And I still haven't watched any of this.

I'm also not a fan of the colors of this one.

Nice pictures in my head of a collector who is collecting only Iron Man and Boba Fett iterations

the colours are actually very accurate as it is based on The Death Watch who were Mandalorian group who did not agree with the pacifism of Mandalore. They were part of Darth Maul's team at one point. Their costumes were this sort of colour (can you tell I looked it up on google hahahahahaha)

That being said, I also will not be getting it as I don't particularly like it either. On better note, Monkey Depot told me my Mando figure is finally in stock, so I should get that one next week and cannot wait!!

During the Galactic Republic and prior to the Clone Wars, a civil war tore Mandalore apart, leading to a schism between the war-mongering Death Watch (who adopted Clan Vizsla’s sigil) and the pacifistic regime led by Duchess Satine Kryze. Led by Pre Vizsla, who wielded the Darksaber, the Death Watch allied itself with Count Dooku and the confederate systems fighting against the Republic. While that coup against Satine eventually failed, Pre Vizsla then found an alliance with Darth Maul and Savage Opress, which helped secure the position of Mand’alor for Pre … at least until a double betrayal resulted in Darth Maul beheading the Vizsla leader, taking the Darksaber, and usurping control as the new Mand’alor. (Yeah, it’s all crazy.) Maul used the blade to battle his mentor Darth Sidious, but lost both the fight and the weapon. He would eventually retrieve the Darksaber, using it to battle against General Grievous and in a number of other conflicts

Also appears it is the armour worn by the Clan Vizla guild who saved Din Djarin too
