Stryker2011 wrote:Wow! That was really cool. The skateboarding shots were wild. Love the loading dock p/back alley environment you created. That crazy ninja dude and his beheading was unexpected. So many great things, and the usual expressive posing. Well done.
csyeung wrote:Whoa, what a glorious set of photos! Those skateboard shots are next level! Well done!

Very impressive set of photos and diorama set up!
GubernatorFan wrote:Glad to see your work make another appearance here and it is fun as always. The loading dock diorama is superb, and I loved discovering or rediscovering so many details in nearly every shot. Great posing, interaction, and very impressive action shots, as with the skateboards. It's been a while since dinner, but I think it was your barbecue that was making me hungry.
BAMComix wrote:Simply outstanding Rev! everything about this shot was perfect, from the sense of fun at the gathering of friends, to the element of hidden danger (possibly highlighting the dangers of the world your gang lives in?). The skateboarding section was top notch, I know I was lucky enough to see a few sneak peaks, but to see the whole segment was spectacular!
there is just s much to look at at the diorama itself, right down to the trash bags on the loading dock. I think what I liked the most is the element of fun your always manage to portray within the group. They always come across as great friends with many special relationships within the gang.
It was well worth the wait Rev, but please, don't let us wait so long next time!
ReverendSpooky wrote:Thank you so much!!! That sense of fun, and their relationships are totally the thing I most want to convey, so I'm always happiest to hear they came across. It's been a ton of fun pulling all these elements together, finally getting to share. This was the culmination of A LOT of little projects, but I'm hoping the next one won't be so far between. And you're dead on about the dangers lurking in the background. As they dig further into the the intrigue all around them, those threats will become even more apparent.

Sounds awesome! I shall look forward to learning even more about the dark world they inhabit, while of course, enjoying the fun of the gang!
skywalkersaga wrote:So great to see these characters again! The set-up and visual storytelling is just out of this world. How you have them all gradually gathering in that place, you know something good is gonna happen. And how all the posing and interactions are meticulously done. Your posing skills are so amazing because they not only tell a story without words, but also manage to portray both individual characters' personalities as well as the various different relationship dynamics.
There's almost too much detail here to take in at a single look through, but the standouts as others have said are the skateboarding shots, just incredibly executed!!!
I loved how there was this sort of shadowy situation behind the scenes, and Koda finishing off the would-be assassin, followed by the little rendezvous with Alice. So sweet. <3
The other part that totally delighted me was when Laurelai floated execitedly over to Corbin, so adorable! When they embraced I was singing in my head 'If you have ghosts, you have everything...' :')
Chip wrote:These are amazing , and it all looks so professional from the figures , posing , dios , and I am well impressed by the action Skateboard photos , just about every photo could tell a story all it`s own . I say again great post .

Ovy wrote:A lot to explore and like! The poses carry so much personality. I took my time looking at the pics on the PC.
Ovy wrote:- I like how they appear one after the other, alone or in pairs. Reminds me of large gatherings where we try to guess who it is appearing in the far distance on the bike etc.

Ovy wrote:- the speedy hairwaves of Thornapple and Delia on their bicycle are faboulous
Ovy wrote:- they look like the kind of people who put boomboxes on their bikes and blast music (interrupted by lame spotify ads) while driving in circles

Ovy wrote:- their kissy image is super sweet, the eyes looks like they are closed actually. I think that might be the Kuleshov effect at work.

Ovy wrote:- sweaty people that don't look like they fell in baby oil, but more textured
Ovy wrote:- beautiful to see the multiple layers of the dio being in use

Ovy wrote:- I guess that is an illustration of Thornapple on the board, and Delia thinks she has to explain it to Thornapple
Ovy wrote:- is there a soundtrack to this scene? Or does everyone get his little theme tune once they arrive?
Ovy wrote:- Jeff, is, like, just, like, kinda like there you know?
Ovy wrote:- Berlin standing there with the flowing hair looks like their is some over the top anime intro soundtrack about to blast

Ovy wrote:- Loved how everything seems to go on normal after that beheading, every second that head might goryliy hit the ground, traumatizing the group forever. They think it's Ketchup, but Alice realizes her murderer friend is nearby drawing blood. Nice of Thornapple giving way her shoes. (Is there a nickname? Thorny, Thorns, Apple? Naps?)
Ovy wrote:- Alice cuddling to Koda next to a beheaded corpse which is probably still spraying some blood out of it's neck arteries.. Aww, so sweet.
