It's been a long time - looong time - coming, but the Molecule8 John Lennon is now here! He's an interesting release, and I bet there will be lots and lots of debate on this one for almost as long. My review is here:

or you can find it with the rest at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Great review! Honest and detailed. I had just seen someone else post a photo on Facebook of the ripped armpit on their Lennon figure right before I read this review. I can't imagine waiting that long for such an expensive figure and having a problem like that right out of the box. Thanks for the review!

interesting review, so glad I didn't order that figure, I'm a big fan of Lennon but what a let down at that price point... I won't even mention the tailoring lol, but even the rubber body, I don't see any potential in it since two other companies are making way better than this... It doesn't even look as good as the early phicen with plastic skeleton.

Great review. Not a bad looking figure, but man, I think Molecule 8 really shot themselves in the foot over-hyping themselves the way they did. By itself, it's an ok release, and I think Micheal's was really fair in what he gave them credit for, and what he dinged them on. From almost any other company, some somewhat forgivable flaws if the price was right. But at that price point, and after they bragged that this company was going to just revolutionize the 1/6 world, it was going to be tough already to live up to that, and it looks all the worse when they put out a fairly mediocre figure.

Also, it's a big miss for them to put out a figure like John Lennon, and to not even include a hand that looks like he's actually holding a chord on the neck of the guitar, or in any realistic way looks like he's even playing. Kinda weak.
