Thanks, ZD! More on the way!

There are some "missing chapters" here on OSF. We intend to post the chapters between 40 and 50 on here, but they aren't "my" chapters so I didn't feel I should do so. But I wanted to get the posts caught up across all the places they appear: Flickr, AMMO, Men With Dolls, and One Sixth Figures.

Yeah I am aware, I saw the other chapters on AMMO. Still its always nice to see an outdoor shoot like that, makes me want to do my own.

A brilliant installment Dave and so cool too meet some new characters to the mix! Basil seems to be a charmer, getting by on his luck an wits (as well as pushing his luck from time to time?), the same seems to be true of Sally, I'm guessing they have some kind of history. Looking forward to that unfolding. Basil's niece doesn't seem happy about being carted off to her uncle. Maybe this adventure will turn out to be better than her planned road trip with her friends?? All will be revealed no doubt! Really looking forward to finding out what happens next bounce bounce
Love the out of ammo page, and what a great way to explain the new page numbering system!

Fantastic Chapter! Do you storyboard everything first before you go do the shoot or is it more organic and you just let the pictures play out?

For myself, my approach has evolved in to scripting out the story in the Comic Life software, setting up the panels and creating the dialog balloons. Then I use the "empty" panels with balloons in place as a guide when staging the photos.

Previously, I did stick figure storyboards on paper.

There is an organic element. Often, when putting the pictures in place, different ideas suggest themselves, resulting in rewrites or re-ordering the panels to fit the new flow of the action.

Very cool! I particularly like the shot where Sally looks intensely at Leyland and says " You're carry CASH I trust". I can feel a lot of the body language come through in shots like that. Without knowing the backstory and previous chapters, I'm sure Leyland screwed her on payment many times before haha.

Always love the vehicles. And the outdoors. And the bug she scored, as discussed elsewhere. Nice references to the way other such installments (whether in print or on screen) handle characters -- like Chaz's off-camera disappearance. Uncle Basil may be a bit cliche, but a lovable one, I suppose.

Really nice outdoor photo story you have going on in this comic, your editing is superb for the format. All the characters seem quite complex and bounce off of each other fluidly. The vehicle shots are very fun.

Has anyone here seen Welcome to Marwen? While watching that film's CG scenes I was reminded of some of this forum's content. Similar atmosphere and humor I guess, and character outfits are similar in style.
