Looks a little too "Asian" to be an accurate depiction of Michael Ironside.

While the equipment on the figure looks great, the headsculpt has far to soft features to match ironsides rugged appearance. if there wasnt any reference and just the sculpt i would have guessed for a botched patrick steward / picard

It's Michael Silverside. He has Elven Blood. Imagine having him with long straight silver hair.

But yeah great set otherwise, I think an official set for the movie has not been released yet? Can only think of the not Johnny Rico set released before.

This made me laugh because I have Asian decent and when I saw this figure my first thought was it looked like me in a Mission Impossible level Michael Ironside mask.

Yeah, Mark is right -- especially when inside the helmet. I have a soft spot for this franchise -- well, the first movie anyway -- and want to like these, but they are less than perfect. Given how unconvincing the Casper Van Dien had was, I don't suppose we can expect much from this.

Totally agree. The movie's choice to use such a straight-forward, non-fanciful and almost generic Trooper style worked well for film purposes, but it doesn't do the figure any favours because it's really only interesting to the extent it's immediately recognizable connected to the specific movie, And yeah, for various reasons, it's not quite there.

I agree, there's something off in the eyes and forehead. I, too, think there's a bit of Patrick Stewart in this head sculpt.

They botched the eyes and mouth. Ironside has a slight overbite that puts his upper lip out. This actually has the lower lip level, if not further out.
As others have said, he has a sort of Asian Patrick Stewart look about him.
Disappointing, as I'd have really liked an Ironside HS.
