it's exobiophilia  lol!
Well, now we know the name for it. Is it significant that French Wikipedia is the only one to have an entry on that term? Smile

There is a page made with all kinds of fantasy:
trees (dendropophilia), ghosts (spectrophilia), cars (mechanophilia), planes (aerodromephilia)....
Some are funny, others much less so.
I will take your word on these. Don't know if they are more scary or funny.

28. Shorts

I'm not quite ready to highlight various aspects of what you're about to see in the proper categories, but since I was taking some quick photos for a couple of product reviews on Etsy (the shorts, from seller Dollsviewpoint), I ended up with several variants of the same scene as usual. It's all done now, but which would you have picked from the following?

Gubernator's Various Photos, Kitbashes, and Customs (new update 12 September 2024) - Page 19 Shorts10

I selected the M36 size (from a range of choices), and they work fine with other TBLeague/Phicen seamless bodies, including M33 (right) and the custom Iconiq Muhammad Ali body (left). The proper place to advertise this would be in the Clothing TBLeague bodies thread, but not ready for a full new installment there. Nevertheless, Dollsviewpoint has a bunch of fun products with different size options, some of them a bit "loud," and many geared toward African(-American or not) figures, which can be quite handy with those new skin-tone bodies of both sexes. I went back and bought more stuff which I will show later.

The second (can't tell why, just a gut feeling).

Cool, thanks for "playing." Maybe it was the colorful chairs "interacting" with the color of the beers, shorts, and Doritos? Smile

Hmm. I rather like the first one myself. The tie in with the pier in the photo and your “floor” is really cool.

Thanks Mark, I'm glad you liked it. As it happens, that's the one I actually used for the review.

Yes I agree, the second one suits what they're wearing, and looks really natural Very Happy .

Great Summer Scene, love it.
In the first picture there are definitely mosquitoes at the lake. I don't like the little bloodsuckers. There are also green ducks Booger swimming in the lake.

The last picture is too cold for me to wear swimming trunks.
Like the previous speakers, I choose the second option. This exudes the calm that you need for a deck chair

Interesting reasoning, which makes good sense. Like I said, I just needed to show the shorts on some figures, put together a quick scene, and tested different backgrounds (there were more, but other backgrounds came out too rasterized). Since the shorts are technically underwear (although the red ones can pass as swimming trunks), I rationalized this as people rolling out of their respective beds late morning after drinking, and drinking some more to get over their hangovers (strange logic indeed). So hopefully no mosquitoes at this hour in any of the photos. Also, they are hardy men and don't mind the chill air or just don't care. LOL
I really should have dug out my deck or beach chairs, for this (especially the beach photos), but I'll be showing off these chairs elsewhere soon.

I like the 2nd one.....it looks wonderfully hot and that beach stretches on forever. The colors of the white sand combined with the blues of the ocean and sky really suit those guys. Its somewhere I'd want to be if I had a body like theirs!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked them. The second photo really seems to be the most popular.

29. Another alternate ending

Why are they doing their happy dance, you ask?

Because they succeeded in effecting a happy family reunion, of course!

Outtakes from the impending review of Hot Toys' newly released Return of the Jedi Darth Vader set.

I can almost hear the first picture:
- And you know that we've got it.
- Defstar!

Awwww look, the family that stays together, slays together. Although Luke looks a little uncomfortable, maybe his light saber is on the blink!

LOL, that was an excellent association. And something I had not seen before. Thank you!

Thank you for stopping by and taking this in, Paul. Yep, Luke doesn't have any happy headsculpts. Come to think about it, only the emperor does, as far as Hot Toys Star Wars is concerned...

Yeah, subvert expectations for real for a change. Smile Thank you for the kind words, Jonathan, I appreciate it. Been stopping to make more photos, but the review is cooking. Coming soon, for real-real.

Thank you very much, Poulette, I appreciate it. Just be warned: I like to "change the story" of the Star Wars universe, so don't mistake my goofiness for official Lucasfilm canon.

Thank you very much, Mark, I'm glad you liked it. Yep, Luke's gone dark, the insignificant rebellion is over, and peace and prosperity reign over the galaxy... Smile
