Well that is rather easy to do yourself I think

Not everyone is as talented as you, Simon. But they do look very nice. Even without that disguised Superman.

These look nice to me, but I was hoping for something in 1/6 scale. I see lots of neat 1/12 diorama parts or bases for sale, but very little in 1/6. Even when I find something, I have sticker shock over the price and then it sells out when I'm about ready pull the trigger and buy it.

Even if we can make our own, things like these steps are good inspiration for us less talented folks. Also, I can see making a fairly simple base and adding these to make it more interesting. Not to mention the time saved.

Perhaps. But for $60 and free shipping from Timewalker (for us in the States), I’d probably end up paying just as much in time and resources to make my own, and it wouldn’t look half as good.

All true $60 is a great price that you can't really beat - but its not all about price - making something yourself is a lot of fun; instead of only buying and presenting
