These are awesome. Version B looks like Roger Moore. And the diorama backdrop looks like a very nice idea.

I agree, they do look good! Roger Moore's character in the Persuaders was a former Guards officer, not a guardsman as depicted here, but I suppose it is close enough! I think they have got the different numbers and spacing of the buttons correct. The bearskin looks very well done and I like the trousers and their buttons.

I wonder who Version A is based on. Another rendition of David Beckham?

please tell me its not supposed to be prince William or Harry.

That having been said I like the outfits always wished my brothers had saved enough action man stars.

apparently my uncle was a 'cold cream' guard in the 50's and told a tale of when walking down the mall getting splashed (he was not in his red jacket thankfully but in uniform) deliberately by a truck he was not happy and well you can guess what happened next!

Yep another rendition of Beckham but looks like Alexis Denisof (Buffy) to me.
This offering looks great but the only reason i would buy this figure (the Scots Guard) is to go with a an Austin Powers...

Didn’t they move the Guards behind the closed and locked gate now? I thought I read that somewhere...

I usually like these ceremonial figures from DiD. I have there lifeguard figure. But seriously "stubble" as a feature mentioned in both descriptions!!!! Really?? if a Gaurdsman showed up to any sort of duty in ceremonial uniform wearing stubble he would be immediately put on a charge.
I know it is as easy a fix as changing the head sculpt, but I do wish these companies would do just a little more research!!
The rest looks ok but I do wonder now how deeply the rest of the figure has actually been researched and what other flaws there might be that are not immediately apparent. I would not know enough about Gaurds ceremonial dress to be able to say.

Good catch and interesting point. For what it is worth, the Roger Moore head does seem cleanly shaven.

Oh yeah that head looks much better. It just that having known a couple of people who did ceremonial duties in the Guards they would have just laughed at this straight away. Its just yet another example of manufacturers doing sloppy research, but there you go, why should they be concerned about what I think.

Probably the best Roger Moore sculpt I've seen.

And, not to be disagreeable, but I don't see Alexis Denisof at all in the other sculpt. Were it Denisof and as well render as the Moore sculpt, I'd be on it in a second.
