Viola is starting on the first test paint of the first relaxed neutral head
sculpt. Look at the typical Michelle Pfeiffer mouth and those typical eyes!

The 3 images represent the 1st time JazzInc have release shots of an actual printed Catwoman head sculpt.

The paint work is going to make or break the sculpt. It’s too early to be able to see Michelle in the sculpt for me.

Without wishing to sound too hard, for the moment, the project feels like a high end kit-bash, with very good intentions.
It will amount to good fun seeing how the prototype turns out. I imagine it will turn out very good.
It will be even more interesting to see how the factory replicates what it has to work with.

Here is the progress by Viola Wittrocka. She has also given feedback
on the sculpt as part of her normal process with Sean Dabbs Designs.
He will now tweak the sculpt bsaed on her feedback.

Q. How would you suggest improving the JazzInc. portrait?

I am questioning the distance between the lower eye's and upper mouth being possibly too large?
I am questioning if her nose is too long/wide?

For me the biggest likeness issue JazzInc. are failing to address is the whole of face (eye's nose mouth) should be lower down on the portrait.

After so many years in the 1:6 hobby, I'm always impressed by how real figures' heads look in photos. A real art. Thank you for showing me.

Well.. this looks excellent!!!
Why is the top of the image blurred?

The great 3D sculpt is one thing. A 3D painted sculpt can be another.
I hope this painted sculpt turns out better than the original painted 3D sculpt, which i was not too sold on.

It looks more like Michelle Pfeiffer compared to the other head-sculpt.

I love head sculptures that depict emotions. That would really be an absolutely wonderful head. I can't wait to see pictures of it in hand.
The diorama is also very promising, a fabulous idea to depict Catwoman with cats. There are so many really real-looking cats from Mr. Z and other manufacturers.

Wow! Thanks for sharing, Shaun. They're so fantastic that I'm already thinking about sanding the mask off with a Dremel. In the end that would be another 500 bucks for expensive headsculpts that I would ruin while rebuilding.

They are awesome. I'm still hoping they include an unmasked relatively neutral sculpt.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it every time… I’ve got to get this! I’ll likely go for the two-pack.

Jazzinc video update

Thanks for the update video, Craig. They're doing a great job, and greater yet with their intake from the public and in providing this information. So looks like an unmasked head would be definitely out. Given the research they've done, I think they could have still released it (perhaps even unhaired and unpainted) as a separate product.
