I’m fairly new to 1/6th modelling and am enjoying learning on every new figure

This is my Dam Toys British Infantryman in Afghanistan

It was my first 1/6th figure and I was blown away by its detail

Ive added an Airborne badge to his stand and finished him off with pastel chalks for light weathering

Welcome aboard. He looks pretty good. I like the weathering details you added. Nice looking figure overall.

Always interesting to me, to see all the equipment. Very clear fine style of Photographie. Is it a figure of You, because the minime in the title ?

The Minimi is the name given to the squad light machine gun he is carrying

By the way, though you can only post 3 images at a time thru servimg, you don’t have to make separate posts for those pictures if you don’t want. Check out post #2 in this thread for a thorough explanation:

Hello, and welcome! Your figure looks great! That stand works really well with him, simple yet elegant. : )

Yes, welcome!

Effective touch ups, that reddish brown is quite aesthetic to have on one's boots.

As I don't use big machineguns in my daily life I have to ask: What's the purpose of that protective pouch covering the magazine? I guess it's not there to keep the bullets warm. Laughing

Thank you Ovy, Ammo comes in cardboard cartons so the canvas case is used to keep that secure
