I don't buy a ton of Hot Toys Star Wars figures, holding out for those I really want to add to the collection. Bespin Leia has a terrific costume, and was one I simply couldn't pass up - my review is here:

or you can find the review with the rest:

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the review (even if I already got the set and did my own, it was great to compare with your impressions) and the photos -- I think you definitely managed to capture the beauty of the sculpt better than I. And that is a very impressive kick pose you managed to achieve with her. I think we agree on everything about this set.

One of my favorite hairstyles she had. That does suck that the flash seam shows

Well, if I hadn't already ordered this, this review wouldn't have dissuaded me from doing so! Wink

Your pics of the headsculpt are some of the best I've seen yet. I'm not personally bothered by the lack of accessories whatsoever, as that's not my focus for collecting. I purchased this figure almost entirely for the outfit, so I do agree that it's a tad frustrating they went overboard with the wire, as the drape could have been better. Though a bit more futzing might help, and if I pose her beside or facing an eventual Bespin Han, hopefully it won't be too noticeable. ;D

But seriously...why don't they use wire in cloaks that could actually do with it?!

I don’t have this figure, but your review seems fair. Thanks for sharing. She does look great in your shots, and I agree the wires in the robe seem unnecessary.

You will be able to get it to lay better with more futzing - I don't do a lot for reviews, because I don't think that's a fair assessment. But if you take the robe off and iron or steam it, and futz with the wire around the bottom edge a bit, I'm sure it will lay better.

Oh, that's reassuring, thank you! Smile And I think that's admirable that you don't do too much for reviews, since it's certainly important that people know what they will be getting straight out of the box.
