Hmm, yeah, that is interesting. I like that it has various options of how to use it.

Only thing that made me raise my eyebrows: I was scrolling down through the pics, wondering what this base had to do with an Angel...and then you see that chained to the column, partial undressed lady...ummm yes, just what an angel would do. Looks like a S/M studio in hell

And then we see the wings and the Lucifer angel in the last pic..I wonder if TYStoys has anything to do with Lucifer?

Not gonna lie, I was somewhat disturbed at first by the chains, too. If I had this, I would not use those (at least not on a female character). But I feel like people here probably sick of me complaining about how so much of 1/6 scale stuff is catered to these kinds of fetish aesthetics, so I didn't mention it. ;p Maybe I should complain more.

Yeah, I noticed her too. Perhaps they are indeed connected...

I think it’s meant to imply that the Angel relics are the souvenirs of fallen/captured angels after a war in heaven type of thing. The concept is actually pretty cool and wild, and has 3 different versions — I’m guessing C, with all the sculpted wings, is going to be super expensive. I actually like the version A & B rather than the full thing myself.

When I first saw this, was thinking it'd be nice column to set behind my Wonder Woman. Did not notice the chains.

It is indeed very nice and seems well executed, and I hope there are a lot more diorama bases like this offered on their own.

I could see using this for some sort of Hercules, or other such thing — or even a Conan “captured princess” type thing without using the wings.

Yeah the good old 90th hercules series.

The six winged column reminds me of the biblical angels encountered by Ezekiel when he was high on magic mushrooms he accidentally consumed when baking bread over cow dung.

I'm really tempted by version A. It's beautiful and would be a nice backdrop for my Xena (Black Spartan Commander).

Absolutely. I was thinking of using it for Athena (so similar in a way).

Version A: I agree, would be great for WW, Xena, etc & Conan (which reminds me of the McFarlane Toys Conan Series Zenobia figure chained to a wall).
This would be ideal for some 1/12 figures too.

Version B: 6-winged angels = seraphim.
Angel Kier would probably look great on this, well the wings would cover up her lovely legs.
Would be much better if the wings were ball-jointed instead of plug-type.

Version C: 8 wings are too much!
The smaller top wings look awkward pointing upwards, then i remembered i've seen old church paintings before with seraph wings painted that way, although with 6 wings only.

LOL 8 wings are too much. I couldn't agree more, but it made me laugh. I am excited to see more elaborate bases and diorama pieces. But it doesn't quite work for me.

Eight wings could work as a memorial for Fallen Angels.

So far, I’ve only seen the A version (sans wings) at Giantoy.

I now know what this is. It's a wing store, where angels can try on and buy new wings.
