A Year in Review. All the Toys I collected this Year (Pic heavy)

2021 was a trying year,  Being in lock down and no where to go led to depression and I was no longer having fun just playing games and watching TV/movies got old,  I needed something new to focus on while being stuck at home.   So I started my collecting journey this year which brought a new found happiness as I never got the toys I wanted when I was a kid.

Here is my 2021 year in Review,  most of my toys,  models,  1/6 figures I collected/build this year.

It's the Rise of Skywalker version,  I wanted the OG version but this one was the only one my local model shop had,  Most of the differences are in the base and the Radar dish so not really that much a difference anyways.

Wow, they add up over the course of the year, don't they. Nice collection. I have the same Falcon (I think), figured it was close enough to the real thing.

Oh man, a collection can explode over the year (especially if interested in many things)!

May 2022 turn out better. I for one love being home so much. There is always something to do, even though I slipped into lazy mode a few too many times and need to get myself back into action. It's harder when couch and TV are so close...

That’s so me.  I’ve gone four or five days without leaving the house at times these last two years, and I’ve absolutely loved it.  I’ve also had a hard time getting back on schedule now that the Holidays are over.  I got used to working on what I wanted to work on and doing so at my own pace.  Now it’s back to scrambling to meet deadlines.  When I logged on yesterday morning I felt like I had been hit by a truck with a “HAPNEWYR” vanity license plate.

So basically, Kitsune can’t afford another year of social distancing, and I can’t afford to lose another cat.  

Daaamn, Xavion.  And here I am, agonising over my measly handful of HT pre-orders...

I did fund at least half of that spending with a long overdue eBay purge and another chunk with my annual bonus back in March, so I’m not lighting cigars with $100 bills or anything, but it was still excessive.  At least the figures seem to appreciate fairly well (providing there’s no cheap pleather).

Now you can see why I’ve set myself a limit of ten 1:6 purchases this year.  I have no more preorders in the pipeline, and that limit I’ve set should weed out the “wants” from the “must haves”.

Wow! 2021 may not have been a great year for being stuck indoors, but what a collection of amazing figures you have accumulated! I particularly like the Final Fantasy figures

I can't even begin to process what I received this year -- too much, to be honest -- and it would require I go back and look at receipts, or my accounts on line, and that's just too much work for my lazy old butt.
