Mads and Meds fighting it out in a tournament.

Black and gold is a striking contrast.

Looks nice, although I have never been a fan of those froggy helmets.

But I really hope those clearly visible print lines that are all over the armor are just seen on the early prototypes an will be sanded away later for the final molds, otherwise this would be...ungood.

I like the horse, although probably an expert will turn up soon and, using the scientific method, point out this is the worst horse they have ever seen and it's impossible for it to live.

Ovy, I am here to ruin your day. It's a terrible horse. Looks like someone made a rough/bad attempt at copying the Mr. Z Akhal-Teke pose.

(I mean, I *have* seen worse, but it's certainly not a horse I'd consider having on my shelf. I guess you can get away with it if it's going to be totally covered up by the barding, but still....even the hooves are wrong.)

That's exactly what I thought. They tried (and failed) to steal the design.

There is something cool but at the same time surreal about the fairly sleek design. I like them overall, but don't see them as realistic and viable knights.

Coomodel is not known for their horses. I think it looks pretty similar to the norman steed horse from ages ago.

I like the knights. Yeah the frog helmets are special but typical tournament helmets.

I kinda like the red doublet and the Mads headsculpt. That's about all.

Tournament armour is too specialised to be any use to me. The only way I would buy it is if it were designed as a garniture, which enabled tourney pieces to be swapped out for field pieces.

I also can't say too much about the new "superalloy" need to check it more closely, doesn't feel much different to their other armor at least.
Still some quality issues, this time with the helmet. Otherwise, kinda like the jousting look.

Hah, you have the "eagle eyes" Yeah, that was a cheap trick but his lance is very tall especially on a horse.
I think I would like to do a jousting duell in the future, but one jousting knight is one too few.


I will make pics of the helmet tomorrow (need to go to bed now) to show the problems I have with it. I think it is a very strange technique to close the helmet with cords, but that isn't the only problem, it is how the visor is supposed to slide into/onto the helmet

Oh I don't think he will slot into my DnD part, but I'm collecting medieval (fantasy) knights as one of my lines and that is where he will fit. Just for the shelf. (and Simon it is, but can easily get confused with all the names on here mate )

thank you all! Yeah that horse is more for battles than tournaments with its heavy chainmail armor (but hey, it is just fabric not metal, so it should count eh? )
I'm long enough in this hobby to know that this horse is anatomical not perfect... But I traded it for a MrZ Akhal (the one in my profil pic to be exact) which is a far better horse, but it just didn't suit my needs. I'm happy with this one for the knights.

Well that's lucky! Sorry to see that horse go, though, the Akhal-Teke turned out to be one of my top favourites. But I understand, you have to do what is best for your collection. :')

Yeah, the muscling on the horse is decidedly iffy, but tacked up it’s certainly better than the usual non-Mr Z ones! To me, personally, the armour looks really cheap - there’s something about the finish on it that really doesn’t say ‘metal’ to me.
I do like the Mads head though, he has such distinctive features it’s nice to see such a good likeness which doesn’t veer off into caricature.
