Just some sixth-scale goofery with a variety of things I've picked up over the years. Given the little or no comment on my recent additions to threads, I will keep it minimal and forego any explanation. Just want to thank those of you who made me aware of specific pieces or their potential -- there are at least three of those in the photo.

Vikings!!! Boo!!!

Go Pack Go!!!

Just kidding. (But I do own stock in the Packers). Those are some pretty serious Vikings fans. Appropriate that Thor is among them considering the team logo and all. What are these made out of? Foam can coolers?

LOL, at least I got a good reaction. Smile For what it is worth, I am a Patriots fan, insofar as American football is concerned -- and my passions there are fairly minimal, since I grew up thinking of football as soccer (you know what I mean). These are foam "bottle jerseys," available with various team logos and designs. They don't work quite as nicely as normal sixth-scale t-shirts would have (if available), but the design does convey the look of football pads and all that. I chose the Vikings largely because of Thor. But look more closely, who are the other dudes? And what is the opposing team?

I see their playing the Rams, but I’m not that familiar with the two head sculpts. Who are they?

Two other Chris Hemsworths. The yelling one is by Elite (they made two, one with, one without the "war paint," and either could accommodate an optional eye-patch to be attached with blue tack). The bearded one is based on his appearance as a green beret (in Twelve, I think) and is by DAM. Why three Chrises? Well, can one ever have enough? Just kidding... I suppose there was the Thor ~ Viking thing, they do look sufficiently different from each other, and apparently there is a comic book story where all the Thors (who were not all the same person) band together against some common enemy.

So this was partly inspired by one of my friends, who is a big Vikings fan and knew why I got the "beer jerseys" from the get go. And it turned out her husband is a big Rams fan, so she was very happy with the (coincidental) choice of image on the TV screen.

Is her husband still a Rams fan after their abandonment of St. Louis for L.A.? (Well, I should say their return to L.A.).

Yes, he is. Odd thing is that neither he nor his wife live anywhere near the places associated with these two teams.

When I was a kid I was a Dallas fan (‘course that was probably more for the cheerleaders — when they used to show them during half-time). Wink

Now you made me want to put together a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader. And that won't be easy for someone without the skills of Sir Shovelchop. Smile I couldn't even put together a conventional or mix-and-match cheerleader -- serves me right for looking down on skimpy outfits most of the time. Oh, the frustration! Smile (On the other hand, since you bring up Dallas, a Debbie scene is totally possible, but this is not the place for that sort of thing...)

I knew Thor was a football guy...just knew it.

I have it on good authority he's a beer guy, too, so there you have it.

Good thinking on the coozies. I probably would have never come up with that, but, since you did, it occurs to me that we have some Clemson bottle coozies exactly like those.

...gears are cranking...

Thanks, dadrab. Yes, probably Australian football though. Smile The coozier or "beer jerseys" are very tight, and foam on silicon is a very difficult thing to slide on (and I used the relatively slender M33 bodies); would be a bit easier on conventional hard plastic jointed bodies.

Oh man, what a blast! I didn't even realize at 1st that they were all Hemsworths. Using that yelling face for this is absolutely brilliant! Even the body language in all these pics looks perfect. I really do love this whole photoshoot.

Ah, I forgot about your more sophisticated tastes. But I'd imagine you prioritizing football/soccer over American football, if it came to that.

Thank you very much, ReverendSpooky! The yelling face (they made two, I used the one without the war paint) is not the best likeness, but it does work quite well for certain settings. I'm glad you liked the scene... and to think it all started with the idea of merely using the "beer jerseys" for American football fans. Glad to see you had some time to look around and comment on the forum after your heavy week.

You know, I've said it before, but this is where these unlicensed head sculpts where the likeness is off are PERFECT!  When you need a good head for a figure, but you don't want it to necessarily BE the actor or character its supposed to be of, I end up liking when it's a bit off.  In this case, it give the look of them being 3 brothers, all watching the game together.  I love it!

And yeah, FINALLY had some quiet time to myself this Sunday to get back on.  I was missing this place.

I doubt whether a shaken Orangina is advisable (it is, after all, a carbonated soft drink)... unless you'll be having it undressed in the bath tub. Actually... it gives me an idea for when those bath tub sets become available. See what you've done now? Wink

Au contrare, you do shake Orangina as it has pulp in it. Shaking the bottle helps mix the drink, they even based their ad campaigns around it. "Shake the bottle, wake the drink.".

I stand corrected... it's been awhile since I've been to France. Perhaps I was subconsciously thinking of Fanta! Smile

I finally had to look up Orangina. Never heard of it before, but it sounds kind of good.
