Not familiar with the source, but certainly majestic.

Hm. I normally appreciate fantastic stuff like this, but this one doesn't reach me. The face looks too much like shiny smooth cheap plastic to me. And the beard doesn't look natural with that skin colour. Some details are just off.

I think the greenish beard also detracts from the potential of realism, and makes it look even more like an animate character.
