Hahahaha........I feel lucky those figures still in one pieces after my cruelty binding.... Laughing

skywalkersaga wrote:Despite the limitations of certain bodies and/or outfits, you managed to pose them very well and take some great photos.

Also, that's a neat Bruce Willis sculpt, very intense!

And omg....is that... a Sideshow Captain Rex headsculpt??? :O

Captain Rex.....thanks for your question....I finally know who is it.... What a Face

Thanks for your support too...this time I nearly use camera phone to take pictures, because they are too fast to fall down....some of it was taken "during" the fall down..... Laughing ......but plastic figures isn't really bad, since they are still growing from so many decades.....

As I said, a few tenth bucks of Ganghood 1.0 got poor in articulationsm especially upper body. He has both chest joint and hip joint, but the thigh cannot make more than 70° for a proper sit....

But, Ganghood managed to built great shape looking with clothing and without clothing with any headsculpts....I mean any characters, any heads, any faces....here are some more proves....

Here is the comparisons with Ganghood and Phicen M33, they are same category, but Ganghood got a longer legs than M33..

More nice pics. Smile Those outfits do look good on the ganghood! I don’t own that particular jointed body , so wasn’t aware of its limits in articulation... thanks for explaining. : )

And ha, you are welcome ... don’t mind me, it’s just the first time I’d encountered a Clone Wars character on this forum, so I got excited. ;D The Phase 2 Captain Rex is a somewhat rarer figure that goes for high prices in the ‘aftermarket’, so I was surprised to see it ‘loose’. You made a unique find with that one!  He is a wonderful character, and suits the military gear you have him in. Very Happy

Aw, yeah, no doubt it would be tough to find that armour in its entirety on its own. But at least your Rex seems to be having fun playing 'dress-up'! Very Happy

These do look very good ... and the last guy almost works even with an oversized microphone. Smile Surely he means to make an impact.

you have no idea how much i enjoy this thread. over the years i"ve seen wonderful figures posed as if they had a 1/6 broomstick up their ass Wink. usually put in dioramas that let my jaw drop.

always thought "what gives?"

i ain't very talented myself when it comes to posing, but i always look for joints not bending further than a real body, restricted by tendons, could do.
stuff like big toe in line with the kneecap etc.

and even if it ain't someone's cup of tea, "baki" as odd as it looks is very inspirational when it comes to body language transferred through its artwork

cheers

That mic even bigger than his head.... What a Face ....I like how he suits up rather than a bulky vest on him sometimes....

Glad you enjoy this sir...... What a Face Yep posing and taking shots are the reasons that I collecting figures....I don't really go on with "Collecting" style, instead I prefer to take more interesting shots on them....of course it might also take up risking cost on body damaging... Arrow

Very nice poses all the way! I'm just the same, not very "museum" collector, my figs stay in a cabinet until I play with them, and they better be prepared for some intense posing lol

Glad you like it!!!! What a Face  I am currently only using aps-c Fujifilm (Full frame if you are Canon-er Laughing ), with my 56mm f1.2, as picture posted. The equivalent of the focal length is 85mm for full frame. For the light I use the Aputure A7 as studio light, mini torch light as key light and sometimes add phone camera light.....
