Very nice sets!

An interesting, historically vague uniform that has elements of both the Japanese and Kuomintang uniforms of the late 20's to mid 30's yet is neither. The figure could represent an officer of a Chinese warlord army, I suppose. Interestingly, his sidearm appears to be a Browning Model 1910 which was one of the most popular pocket pistols of the era and definitely fits in well with this figure. This figure would be a perfect complement it seems, to an Indiana Jones collection.

That is one lovely set (even if not my genre at all)

I made some ressearch on google, it seems to be "quite" accurate historically only because the figure is actually based on an historic tv show (that is very popular in China apparently)

It's named "Shao Shai" or "Marshall Junior" in translated versions.

Ah, okay.  I looked it up.  He was a previous ruler of northeastern China, which sort of fits into the Chinese warlord thing and explains why his uniform is not characteristic of the KMT's. The khaki uniform has a nice Dieselpunk feel to it, I think.

IMO this figure would fit in perfectly in the Shanghai scenes of Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom.
