Pretty cool set. It occurs to me that if I were collecting these, by now I could probably have a beautiful pre-modern China diorama populated with a plethora of different characters. I am not sure about the specific character, timeframe (well he has a pistol), and location this is supposed to fit, but I remember a very similarly clad Chinese official in the Mongol movie, so it would apply even fairly far back.
