It really is fun to see Q definitely getting the better of Bond for a change.

The fun continues... it is more fun with Q, but even without him the one-liners worked pretty well. One suggestion: when you depicted 007's "investment," you might have wanted to flip the photo so that the carnation's location would match.

Heh. Me too. I've had to use screen shots from the movies. Sideshow did one a few years ago but the head sculpt isn't good enough to be worth the asking price.

But which version of Q? Major Boothroyd...? Q during Connery's era...? Or really old Q?

Personally, I'd like to see him from either Dr. No or From Russia With Love, and an M, too from the same two films -- and don't forget Moneypenny.

and yes the old sideshow version is too weak for the price, that's the problem with those sideshow figs becoming "vintage"... I recently looked for a cigarette smoking man and assistant director Skinner from X files to go along with threezero's release, but the price is insane for a very outdated and cheap figure (even if the sculpts had a decent likeness hidden under that awful paintjob)

You can tell that it is Desmond Llewellyn but its more of a cartoon likeness than a realistic one. The oversized head makes him look top-heavy.

What I could really use for these comics is J.W. Pepper from Live & Let Die and Man with the Golden Gun.

Ha, that likeness is pretty decent for Sideshow, especially considering it's one of their older figures. But I agree, it is a tad cartoonish. Maybe a repaint can help? As for the proportions, perhaps they could be helped just a little bit by swapping to a different body?

Try to figure out how I can work all of these into one scene.
