Wow! I haven’t got round to playing the game (David Cage games seriously annoy me from a gameplay point of view) but damn, that’s a very accurate Connor!

They do look pretty good.

This is much more accurate than the VTS is and I really like it. Detroit Become Human is coming to Steam on the 18 of this month. Even if you already bought it on Epic ditch it and go for the Steam version. Controller support is far better.

The figure is supposed to be out soon, how good are they at sticking to release dates though.......

As I mentioned in the VTS thread, I think you’ll be much happier with this version. If you’ve been following the LIM Toys reps conversations over at the Freaks, it appears they are very concerned with the details and getting things right (which, despite being unlicensed, is still pretty cool). I have their a Gunslinger on PO (but I also have the VTS Wilderness Rider), and they’ve said they are going to be adding some extra accessories to that set that haven’t been seen yet.

I’ve played the game since I first saw these and urghh, what I wouldn’t give to have a money tree right now. T.T

I haven't even looked on SSF. OSF was the first place I came after seeing the VTS on FB. When it was mentioned that someone else had done one, I thought of the Wilderness Rider and then realised who had. This Connor was in insta-PO as soon as I saw him. I'm now hoping that LIM Toys release a Kara. There looks to be a Hank in one of the promos. I'll see how Connor turns out before I bite though.

Were you playing DBH on PS4? Have you seen the PS4 remasters of the other 2 Quantic Dream games? They too are coming to Steam on the 18. I'm getting all 3. Quantic Dream are the first gaming company to have excited me with their entire catalogue in ages.

I am! I haven’t played Heavy Rain but I did have Beyond: Two Souls and absolutely loathed it. The narrative and pacing was awful and it never seemed to know what kind of game it wanted to be, and unfortunately it put me off playing Detroit for a very long time because I had such a negative response to the previous game. I absolutely adore Detroit though and I really hope they make a sequel, or at the very least a spinoff where Connor and Hank solve crimes together.

I watched Jack’s playthrough after I played it myself and it was really interesting to see how even the most subtle differences in choices made big impacts later on. (Though I was cringing during the interrogation when he kept doing the opposite of what the game was telling him to do and got Connor killed

All 3 games look good to me.

The controller support via the Epic Games Launcher was so bad I had to resort to playing with a keyboard and mouse. Doing the actions with a mouse was so clunky that I got Connor killed on the rooftop and I couldn't get Markus to open the door of the paint shop. I gave up then and ordered an XBox One controller with a wire. The day after I'd ordered it, I discovered that the game was coming to Steam!

When the controller arrived, I plugged it in and got as far as Markus getting the paint. It was ok. I then got curious about the demo on Steam, so, I downloaded that and my DS4 worked perfectly. I can't wait till the 18 now.

In every walkthrough I've seen, I've not seen one person recognise Lance Henriksen. He's the biggest star in it. I've also seen a video where, if you play right, he doesn't die. You can play it so that Markus never kills anyone and I think I might try that.

Have you played The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan? It looks amazing and has similar gameplay.

I hate using a mouse and keyboard for anything that isn’t point and click (like Banished for instance) so a controller is an absolute must for me! I must admit I did choose the ‘casual’ control scheme over the normal one because I was playing it for the story and I hated the gesture inputs from the previous game. I really struggled to open that door as well! XD Of all the things to cause problems it had to be a bloody door! I tried to sneak past Zlatko but every time I went to hide the QTE kept failing so I had to fight it out. -.-

Oh I saved him first time! I don’t think I could ever do a playthrough where he dies, it’s just too sad, and if he lives you visit him near the end as Markus wants his advice and he calls him his son and it’s just so sweet. <3

I haven’t actually, though I’ve heard good things! I keep meaning to watch a playthrough!

I've seen the bit where Markus visits him on a video, not many actually make that choice. While obvious who Karl is, Hank is played by Clancy Brown, who played Kurgan in Highlander.

I'm watching a review of one of Limtoys MGS sets and it is really impressive, I am so looking forward to Connor now!

I just got a notice from eBay to say that my figure has shipped. There's been nothing from the rep on SSF to say that they're going out. If my seller has sent me a VTS instead I'm not going to be a happy bunny. I've asked him to send me a pic of his stock so I know what he's sending.

If it is the Limtoys then ok, but, if it's the VTS, oh dear....

The Limtoys rep on SSF confirmed that these figures are NOT shipping! I scoured eBay and couldn't find a listing by that seller for the VTS, but, that doesn't mean it's not what I've got coming.

If that is what arrives it's going straight back and I want a full refund as I paid in full and not by deposit. I hope, if the worst happens, that I can find another figure. Both KG and OSK don't list it anymore.

Have you tried to message Kit through his site? He doesn’t always list things after the PO cutoff, but he told me recently that it’s pretty common for him to have stock after it comes out. I would get in touch if you don’t have any luck (I saw the LIM reps comments, and I feel certain you are getting the VTS, and the seller hopes you don’t mind).

I think I have had this happen before with a pre-order on eBay, I think it was for my Bandai Stormtrooper. I bought it from a friend in Norwich who has both a bricks and mortar store and an eBay store. I messaged him because a tracking number eBay sent didn't work. He said something about why they were generated but I can't remember what he said and I can't find the emails. I know pre-orders are different to orders.

Just have to see what the seller says....

It was as I suspected, the seller entered the pre-order on eBay and that auto-generated a tracking number. I'm a bit more confident now that I will still get what I ordered.
