I have to say though, the star of the show is Dutch!

I have recently picked up an M35 which i am awaiting the arrival of, so your review is going to be really useful. The M35 I have is for my own take on Dutch, as the Predator ones are now very expensive. I am really looking forward to the body arriving for him. Pics soon hopefully when it gets off that slow boat from China Very Happy

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked them. I did get carried away with photos on this one. I was writing a guest review for Michael Crawford's website (for some reason he didn't get back to me on that one, so I ended up posting it here in the end), and had meant to include a much smaller selection of 14-15 photos. But since I was waiting to hear about the review and I had so many other photos that either turned well or were informative, I ended up with this mess. Smile

The Terminator arrival photo, lightning background (printed) and raindrops apart, was probably a little half-assed (all puns intended), as I had already done it in earlier reviews for M30 and M34 -- here I didn't even bother to borrow a bent-toe foot from ACI. So I really appreciate you liking it; it must have worked (even with poor focus due to keeping the lights down). Given these bodies were kinda designed for Arnie, it had to be replicated yet again. Besides, it is a nice demonstration of poseability.

For Dutch, are you trying to fit the body into the Hot Toys outfit? This was designed for Hot Toys' special muscular body, so it will fit (as you can see), but it will fit even better on the only slightly less bulky M34. If I do a permanent set up, I would use that, personally. Both for looks and poseability. I was pretty impressed with how well it did fit the M35, but M34 will improve performance without decreasing the match in terms of looks. By the way, I always felt the boots that came with the HT set seem just a little too small (tight), something perhaps exaggerated in the photos because of the angle and proximity of the camera. This, by the way, is another use of a single printed sheet of background for both ground and backdrop.

Well, if it was half arsed or not it came out really well bounce bounce bounce . As for my Dutch bash, I don't have all the army gear, in fact, I don't have any of it. My bash is based on his arrival in the helicopter at the beginning of the film. Whether or not the clothes I have will fit, remains to be seen lol! . I am hoping they will. The M35 should arrive sometime next week, fingers crossed anyway Suspect .
I am looking forward to finally getting him on a better suited body, so look out for pics soon bounce bounce

Well thank you very much, you're very kind. Glad you liked it.
I see (about your impending Dutch) -- the red shirt look, was it? So also no face paint then. I do look forward to seeing your creation.

Do I remember correctly that there are cigars involved? Or am I mixing this up with something else? Been awhile.

While that should not be particularly difficult, especially if you resort to Kneadatite (these guys should pay me for promoting their stuff LOL) or air-drying clay or something like that -- I assume you would want to give it a tapered look, although I confess that I haven't gone back to look what exactly it looks like in these frames from the film. Then you can paint it and maybe glue on a brand logo if needed. But there are in fact plenty of sixth-scale cigars you can pick up and, if necessary, modify as needed.

You are welcome. They are bound to have some already floating around. I don't know how shipping costs and taxes would be for something that should be a small item and not particularly costly, but you can probably find some on Toy Anxiety, Monkey Depot, or Black Ops Toys.
