Last week I checked out John "the hangman" Ruth, and this week I'm looking at Asmus' second Hateful Eight release, Marquis Warren. I think Ruth was unfairly slammed by some collectors...but Warren has some serious issues. You can find my review here:

or with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Thank you for posting another great review. And from what you show, it is difficult to argue with your logic, although in some of the photos at least, Samuel L Jackson was unmistakably there in the portrait.

Great review!
Believe it or not, I just watched this movie for the first time.
While it pretty much unfolded they way I thought, the ride was exciting!
No spoilers, but DAMN!
A must watch for lovers of the genre!

I honestly haven’t seen it, or the previous Tarintino film. My wife loves his stuff; I can take it or leave it. He certainly has a style as a filmmaker, but the length of his films, and the constant need to inject them with verbose conversations that don’t move the plot forward (or have anything to do with the plot in general), drives me nuts. I don’t go to movies to listen to people jabber about everyday things (life is boring enough), I go to be entertained. Most of his films could be told in 80 minutes or less if all the unnecessary exposition was cut out. I’m probably alone in that, but time is short, and three hour movies are just something I don’t have a lot of time for.
