I generally try to make my own clothing and things for my figs, but boots and shoes are another matter. I’ve had my eye on a few on eBay but most sellers don’t mention whether they are hollow or not, something which would greatly affect what I’d use them for. Of course I could just ask the seller but there’s a lot, and tbh I think you guys would know better, lol

Is there any way to tell which ones are pegged on looks alone for future reference? I’m assuming most of the ones with real leather/fabric are more likely to be hollow.

These are the ones I’m interested in...

Hmmm... I don't own any of those, so cannot say for sure. My instincts, based on other similar footwear, would assume that the first and third ones are almost certainly hollow. I'm not sure about the second one, as in shape it does remind me a bit of the DamToys Natalia pegged combat boots that I have. From the pics I can't even quite tell if the second ones are hard plastic or softer plastic/rubber. If the harder plastic, then probably they'd be the kind with pegs.

Most Kumik’s (the 1st one) I find are hollow. My guess on the second is for peg. The third, I honestly don’t have any idea.

If there was an indication of what set they were parted out from, or of the maker, it might have been possible to find out elsewhere. Why don't you send the seller a message to ask?
