It's been a whole week since my last review, and while that's partly due to a slow down in shipping, it's not entirely the issue. I have a few things here...but I spent a ton of time this week working on the "Instistue"! I'm having a blast getting things finally rolling on the collection, and may be done before the year is out. But let's get back to tonight's review, another in the Asmus Lord of the Rings series. You can find my review for Elrond here:

or at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Michael

Thank you for the detailed review, as always. Looks like a pretty great set, but your criticisms also sound fair.

Thanks for the review! It looks pretty good in terms of outfit, details, accessories, and paint job. You’re right that the neck area is weird ... I always get frustrated at female head sculpts that are like this, and in this case you can’t even hide it with hair.

My main personal nitpick with the figure is that the likeness seems a little too old. It doesn’t look like Hugo Weaving 20 years ago to me. This seems to be an issue at times with 1/6 figures in general, not limited to this figure or even to Asmus. It’s not the end of the world, but it does frustrate me.

Otherwise seems like a pretty nice figure. Smile

Good and fair review. And, yes, please — would love to see your entire collection of LOTR/H figures.

Not Bad. Thanks for showing, Michael. I can see him in the HS, but for this figure a Headsculpt with a neckpost will be nice. I think the movability will be a problem here. So nothing for Collectors that like to pose the figures for Photoshootings or what ever...
