This looks great. Glad to see the body’s not overly muscular.

A third version? This guy must be popular. I take it "coated" means the elbows are seamless on one of the versions of the arms. Between this, the accessories, and the ride, it makes for a rather impressive set.

Cloud being a popular character is a bit of an understatement as Final Fantasy VII is one of the most beloved games of the Final Fantasy franchise and one of the most beloved games of all time (changed how RPGs were viewed in gaming in the West at the very least). It’s why we have seen a couple iterations of Tifa, and at least an Aerith (dunno if there have been more versions). There are so many awesome characters in that game alone that one could easily go broke getting them all if they were all made. The same is true for nearly all the Final Fantasy series. I say that as I’m not sure if you have played the games GubernatorFan, so I apologize if you were already aware!

As for the figure, I preordered a different one (i like how it looks overall and I’m not losing a $40 deposit!), but may have to swap out the heads when this comes out. That head sculpt is reallllllly nice if it holds up.

I really want that bike! It actually looks like a REAL 1/6 futuristic bike. So cool. If anyone wants the figure, and wants to split this set, let me know.

Indeed I have not played the games, and have only seen what must have been a fairly early Final Fantasy movie. Thanks for filling me in.

Same here, Stryker. I want this bike so bad.

From the 3 latest releases, this one has the best HS. They painted the hair, so it doesn't look just like a block of plastic. His face and expression are spot on. Overall, this figure looks the best to me.
...buuuut I've never been a fan of Cloud's design.

Now if they release Barret, THEN I'll get a companion for Tifa. Those two are my favorite chars from FF7. How cool would it be having this guy here in 1/6?

They did complete the remake. Unless you're asking for the PC version? In which case that's up in the air as it's currently an exclusive for the PS.

The FF7 remake hasn't gone past Midgar yet (iirc, still on Disc 1 of a 3-disc PSX game). They've greatly expanded the Midgar arc a lot, though.

So, these sets are starting to pop up for pre-order at the stores. From what I've seen, it's already on ToysWonderland, ToyPanic, OSK and GianToy.

The prices are varying quite a bit, so I recommend you guys check in all of them to get the best deal for each of you.

The bike is a must have for me.

You guys do realise that the remake of ffVII is available on the PS4 don't you? I've only played the demo but it is really good

I've had the regular edition on preorder since 2018 and the deluxe since last year, so yes I do.

Again, the remake is not complete. The events only cover part of Disc 1. Even Squenix doesn't know how many parts in total it will have.

Yoshinori Kitase reportedly said the following:

“We have a general idea of how the story will play out, but we haven’t decided exactly (how many parts), nor can we confirm anything,.There’s speculation that it will be three parts, but we’re just doing things one step at a time.”

Tetsuya Nomura also spoke about how many parts Final Fantasy VII Remake could be split into saying:

“If we divide the story into large parts, it’ll take longer to make. If we divide it into more detailed smaller sections, then developing it will be faster. I hope to release the next one ASAP.”

Ah I see, I haven't kept track of it. Just thought with it already being released, it was completed and not in parts (like some point and click adventure games). I stand corrected. Thanks for the input.

I preordered that Ichigo immediately without so much as a second thought. Glad I did too, as it went out of stock on preorder realllll fast. If it holds at all, then both it and Cloud should be pretty nice!
