I'm with you, Valiarde, the Teutonic set in general came out better. There is something about the Hospitaller helmet that looks a little off (no nose guard/bracing?) to me. I wonder how these would compare price-wise with what we are used to from Coo Model and others. There is plenty here that might be useful, although some details seem more fantasy than historical.

Both look like a nice upgrade to the old Ignite knights. I loved those figures... Ignite was great in making lots of knights and romans.

I agree. They were rather pristine, but otherwise quite good -- except when they tried to do wolfskin in rubber lol.

Kit selling them for 180 dollar shipping included, which is lower than I expected. Looks like the new budget knights since Coo is going over the top with basic figures - while some are worth more, with real chainmail or full metal armor, most of the standard knights are not.

Oh yes, I would agree.

It could be yet another subcompany of Coo like CMToys already is.

These knights remind me on 2016/2017 when I started collecting figures and bought my first Coo knights - they cost about the same 160-190Dollar a piece and had similar accessoires. My very first action figure was a teutonic knight with a similar helmet and it even had that same furry cape. (Coomodel Series of Empires 001)

Over time coomodel got more expensive (also some better quality - even though people on fb bemoan the quality control these days which can be a problem for them) and the time has finally come that they are expensive enough that the cycle begins anew and we get this company starting on the same base as Coo 5 years ago. Smile
I like that the helmet is metal though, that is quiet an upgrade and the look of the shield is nice too. Still pondering on getting just those or the whole figure. Ironaically my second teutonic knight at home fell from the shelf and shattered his plastic helmet yesterday lol

wow.. you have photos of the damage? maybe you can fix it

I am not getting the "subcompany" theory. Why sell for cheaper while you can charge premium? Shocked

I feel like these are those cheapo knight/gladiator kit that we saw on Ebay selling for $60-80. I think one of the admins bought the teutonic knight set and reviewed it previously. Quality was pretty bad

I can make some pics later.

There might be upsides to subcompanies. Like if you using unlicenced figures or "cheaper quality" you don't want to add to your big band name for example.

Those new knights here look definately a step above the super cheap "china knights" - they also have alloy helmets and weapons for example. And real heads.

I think you mean "China Toys." And I agree. The bodies and heads are bad, with loose or stuck joints, but the actual outfits and accessories are pretty good, and overall excellent for kitbashing or army building. I don't know if they are still around. These look more ambitious.

Yeah thank you, China Toys was indeed what I was thinking of.
I have (had) one of them, too. The bodies are low quality and the chainmail material was kinda garbage looking, but some of the parts are nice. And they don't even have a proper HS, just a slim black dummy head (which can be useful for using under helmets)
Also these bodies had everything connected with screws, even the hands pegs iirc?

Welcome. And I agree. Actually the head was real, but in some cases unpainted (or rather painted a dark color, evenly, no features). The neck was stuck -- at least in my experience, and getting it unstuck resulted in decapitation. I picked up their hoplite and Teutonic Knight, and reviewed the latter here:
