Very cool. I especially like the stand, which can pass for a real thing.

Very cool. I like everything about it: the figure, the photography, the accessories, the base, the backgrounds. All very well done. Scatter some old chicken bones around his feet and it would be perfect.

I think this is the best yet in that series.

It's the least cartoony and would make a great Indiana Jones/Lara Croft style diorama.

Still like the werewolf better, but this one's right on its heels.

Given my perception of their Frankenstein release (which I had really looked forward to and was sorely disappointed), this is light years ahead.

I’m with you on everything.

I am not a fan of horror figures but the headdress, jewelry and accoutrements would make a fantastic fantasy warrior! If the price is right I will get one unless I can get the bits separately.

This series has never been cheap, but this is a figure, two (presumably jointed) 'action busts' and the extra base.

My thoughts: I like the overall look of everything in this set (the Deluxe version) (sorry, I forgot to take pics of the extra face plates). It comes with two heads: one with the headdress, and one without; both have magnets in the face plates so they can be changed out. Getting this head on, and the heads of the two other mummies, was a PITA! I snapped off the cobra head, and had to glue it back on. His shoulder/neck collar, staff, waist belt (aside from the hanging bits) are die-cast metal (I absolutely hate that companies do this -- it adds nothing to the figure but weight it can't support, and drives up the cost, when plastic painted right looks just as good as metal -- the body on this guy is pretty horrible. I'm using the staff, and the dynamic stand arm to keep him upright.) The extra mummies are fairly solid, aside from the ability to move, and bend, the arms a bit -- the wrappings prevent a lot of movement on all three. The torso posture on the emerging mummies is solid and part of their bases -- only the arms, wrists, and head can be turned; the necks are double ball jointed, but you can only get them to raise so much. The torso on The Mummy is pretty weak, and it has difficulty staying upright, as I mentioned. The mobility, thanks to the wrappings, is fairly limited, and the legs and arms are fairly stiff, and take a bit of work to get them bent just right -- you'll end up pulling more strands from the wrappings the more you work with the figure -- which actually isn't a bad thing, since it adds to the tattered look. Overall, for the cost, I'm slightly disappointed. He/they look cool, imho, but for the cost, it would have been nice if the underlying body was more posable.

Thanks for the review and the pics. This is a figure I had several times in my basket since its announcement but never pulled the trigger. It looks really good and has a great presence imo. Too bad about the body and posing limitations but you found a great one and how often does one change poses anyway? I guess i do it for photography but otherwise my figures stand in 1-2 poses...but i know what you mean and if sth can be improved it should be improved.

They look very good, I'm just sorry they have been so frustrating for you.

I know what you mean about using metal instead of plastic but often the painted plastic looks like painted plastic and that is not good either. I suppose they feel that they have to spend more time on the plastic to get it to look right and they cannot get the proper recompense for the extra effort because it is only plastic. Maybe it is easier for them to make parts in metal and charge more for them.

I'm someone who likes metal on the figures but I know how bad the handling can be then. My Coomodel Gothic Knight is horrible for posing. But it feels like a museum piece and quality this way instead of plastic collectors "toy"

So I can see both sides of the coin here. The TBLeague Imperial Guardian looks realistic made plastic armor from the pics so far which is nice.

I don’t mind metal if the bodies underneath are quality (like World Box), and can handle all the extra weight, but I find Coo Model bodies disappointing on almost every level. They’re cheap to buy loose for a reason — they are almost as bad as any generic body out there. The bodies for these monsters (I have three: the Werewolf, The Witch, and this), and aside from the Witch, these custom bodies are just as floppy as their regular bodies. I’m assuming they used an existing jointed female body for The Witch — aside from the additional cat part add-ones.
