Great video, Craig, and great photos, Omnomax. I'm glad to see the cosplay set work out so nicely.

Picked up some accessories from the absolute GARBAGE Bree Larson captain marvel endgame hot toys figure, you know they one thats been in stock all over for like 3 years because nobody wants it? hahah

Anyway, modified them for my Ms Marvel superduck, the results are amazing so thought I would share.

Hey Omnomax, I do prefer the look without plastic attacks, but I see the value in them and they do look good. Good purchase!

Just wanted to share some of my own pics!

Close up of the head sculpt! I think it does remind me in some ways of a comic Carol Danvers/ Ms Marvel.

AND here she is on an S23b!!! I ended up sticking with this setup, though I think she looks fantastic on both the 43 and 23b. While the skin tones don’t match up completely to my eye, for me the differences aren’t so much and look fine in person.

More poses!!! It’s so much fun playing around with the super-fluid pose-ability of the seamless bodies!

I still haven’t messed with the mask yet, as I’m kinda wary of it being metal haha I wish it were plastic or even if they included a head with the mask molded on. But I don’t mind her not wearing it since there’s some instances in the comics she doesn’t have it on so it can be technically accurate

She looks great with both bodies, Zurdoz. Although I've got to say that many almost identical large photos are a bit of an overkill. But at least she is invariably enchanting.

I prefer the 23 body to be honest. The overly large breasts on the other figure don’t really work for the comic look.

The smaller bust works better.
The Captain Marvel head sculpt works well.

I came here expecting to see a blue outfit. I have not seen the black outfit with gold logo before, probably because i rarely read comics.

I apologize, I went overboard on which ones I wanted to share  I’ll make sure to tone it down a bit for the future

Hmm, yep the 43 does have a significantly larger bust compared to the 23 so I can see why some would prefer one over the other.

I actually put together the blue/red comic outfit also using the head sculpt with this set! I’ll post some pics too  

I kitbashed a comic Captain Marvel!!!  I used the head sculpt from this set, a P/TBL S33b body, and a parted out ACPlay Universe Superhuman (Captain Marvel) suit!!! SOO happy to also have a 1/6 comics Captain Marvel!!!!!!!

Certainly better than the movie version. She looks great.

Yup yup yup!!! (Though I like the movie version too! )

I had some other 1/6 clothing pieces to sort of recreate her other more leisurely looks from the comics!

Yup I borrowed that outfit from my civilian Wasp bash too, but when I was trying to put the pants on the TBL body, they ripped, blah! Fortunately I sourced another pair of black pants (from the TBL Black Saintess Knight I believe) from a part out site so it was fine haha

I for one like to see her in different casual outfits more so that they're based on actual comic art.
I have this figure but refer to her as Warbird.
What I'd like is the classic Ms. Marvel with the retro short blonde fly away hair, red top, red scarf,
so your pic with the red long sleeve top is a good start (but exposed mid-riff version would always be best of course).

BINGO!! You read my mind! I would really like to see Super Duck make a classic red/blue suit Ms. Marvel!!! I wouldn’t mind the exposed mid-riff either.



And then I could pretend it’s Carol from TA:EMH too!!

@Zurdoz, I only knew of Mike Deodato, Jr. when he drew Wonder Woman, I wasn't aware he drew Capt Marvel, well since I'm more of a DC guy. I really like his style.

Warbird was standing unsupported for months. I moved her in the shelf to make way for WW84 and in a few days i found her leaning backwards and saw the HEEL!
I already fixed it with hot water but now have to give her a stand and I really want to avoid using those waist grabbers / crotch supports.
I'm was thinking of giving her a "third leg", a thick wire that I'll run down her long diaper-ish sash, or... maybe I'll just follow you guys with the flight stand, I'm just wary of how the clamp will affect the rubber suit in the long term.

Oh, glad you mentioned this. Although i use a waist grabber myself, hidden behind her sash. something to be in the lookout for.
