NEW PRODUCT: JXK studio: 1/6 Lion 2.0

Paid my invoice with Kit. My jungle menagerie is growing. Now I just need to get off my lazy butt and make my Tarzan figure to go with Jane.

My package from Giantoy has arrived in the country, so it should be only a few days now.

hehe... my package also comes from Giantoy ... and I just had the beast ... it is very beautiful, just majestic .. another great success from JXK

Mine also arrived. Looks like 3Afr beat me to it hehe. Anyways, here's some more pics. The box and figure is huge , although not sure why I had thought otherwise when preordering. I'm not sure where to display it haha. Details are very nice. As many know it's a statue rather than figure, so no articulation. Packaged nicely in white foam. Hair will need some futzing to look like the pictures as it's pressed down and back in the packaging. Overall looks great! Also I think the colors are not as reddish as in the promo pictures, but I think that may also depend on the lighting in your room. Hope this is helpful! I'll try to post up a 360 video later today or tomorrow so you guys can get a better look.

not enough hair...doesn't looks like a Lion King...I actually wanted it for my lady warrior to look badass with some wild cats, but this is not it.

i think you are right, maybe the camera couldn't really show how much hair there is. Do you have a picture with a 1/6th male/female figure? for ratio comparison. thks.

Be careful actually 'brushing' it, you could make the fur go all matted or frizzy instead. Better to use fingers to comb through it, or maybe a small toothpick to untangle it....

thanks for the tip Sky. I used one of those small mini makeup brushes and my fingers to pull the mane out more. I think it looks a bit better? Maybe? I'm not so skilled at Lion mane grooming haha.

I agree, looks very good. Being cats, lions groom a lot, I suppose. So more grooming and, naturally, looks like a lion.

Amen to that. I spent some time looking for a lioness for my lion and cub, but although there were some nice looking ones, all the ones I found were quite underscaled for our purposes.

For those who received the lion, you can give him a trendy hairstyle... if you don't like the original mane
