Premier Toys following up their first MAd Max announcement with a second. Cool. I don't need this bad boy though

Looks excellent, and I love it. Did Premier Toys make a Mad Max from this movie? I know VTS did and they also did the diminutive Furiosa.

You are right, premiere toys did the mel gibson figure iirc. Ugh, so it doesnt line up perfectly.

No, but it's all good. You can never have enough of those. Smile And maybe that means they will get round to doing the matching Max and Furiosa? Who knows...

But it’ll go great with the VTS Max — I passed on Furiosa because it was so ridiculously small, especially since Charlize is pretty tall (this is what drives me,nuts about these companies just using whatever $#@t generic female body is on the market for every damn figure. Take the time to do it right, or don’t do it at all.)

I don't know what they were thinking with Furiosa -- they might have given her the wrong body -- or even made a new one for her with the wrong height -- because someone didn't do their homework, rather than because they were using an already existing body and had no other choice. But, generally speaking, fair point.

God help us if 1:6 vehicles from the film happen.

So shiny and chrome!

I’m honestly surprised it’s taken so long to make Immortan Joe, he’s such an iconic character!

Side note, Fury Road is one of my absolute favourite films of all time, I genuinely can’t find a flaw in it, especially after watching a really great video about anticipation/payoff in film - it was so incredibly well done!

Agree with you! It's one of my all-time faves, too. I rarely ever go to the cinema, so it was pure chance that I made there to see that movie, and I'm so glad I did. Still probably one of my top cinema experiences ever. NEW PRODUCT: PREMIER TOYS: 1/6 The Warlord Action Figure 1f60d

My pics don't really do this figure justice, but he is really impressive; a little fiddly with the hair and the delicate nature of the semi-transparent armor and pauldrons, but overall this is a pretty cool figure. (Tried some semi different lighting movement to try and capture this guy, but again, my pics kind of suck).

And here's a pretty good pic of the unmasked head from FlyAndFight over at the Freaks:

Ha, exactly. Happily remember that Storm scene on the big screen. It was such a lovely day.

On Friday I attended a little post apocylptic event with costumes and modified apocalyptic cars etc. One had a mask similar to the one of Immortan Joe, someone built tons of custom steering wheels with skulls, ammo cartridges etc., or explosive spears made of empty gas cans and nails. Many of the members started their post apocalyptic journey after experiencing Mad Max: Fury Road. Oh and there was a Post apocylptic Elvis singing and the background dancers had flamethrowers.

Anyway, if you shout "Witness me!" or something like that they all happily join in.
If the real apocalypse is populated by this kind of people it might be not so bad after all.
