On some forgotten planet in a forgotten proxy war, TK-105 was exfiltrating an enemy facility, with data that was 'essential for the Imperal war effort', as his higher ups claimed. The loading bay was his way out.
They only left one guard. This Mandalorian mercenary didn't move an inch for quite some time, looking at some holo.
He didn't really want to fight that killing machine.
But the neck was a vulnerable spot in that guy's armor, even the tiny pistol.
would do the job.

The Mandalorian looked up from his holovideo, took a second to assess
the situation.
No words but no shot either.
Imperial rubbish, he thought, accepting his fate.
The Mandalorian held his fire, took some steps back, pointing at the lenses of the Scout's helmet.
With the chance gone, TK-105 threw his little pistol in a desperate attempt and considered running away.
Bonk.
It did nothing, didn't impress the mercenary, but gave TK-105 time to
reconsider.
He pulled his knife.
Better dying with a weapon in hand than being shot in the back the second he turned around.
Whatever it was, pity, honor, sadism, or even boredem - but the mercenary, in response didn't shoot first. Maybe that's what he was waiting for all the time.
He removed the ammo from his gun....
TK-105 remembered Oldbreeds lesson when fighting these noble Warrior types, like the Mandalorians: Get them by their honor.
So TK-105 chose not to interrupt him, fully aware that the walking weapons platform could kill him in a second thanks to his gauntlets still.
He dropped the gun on the floor.
The mercenary also pulled out his knife.
So that's what it would be. A fair chance for him despite his backstabbing attempt to shoot his neck. More than he could have wished for.
Having a knife fight with a Mandalorian wasn't on TK-105's bucket list, but it was the best alternative considering his situation.
