I thougt this would be Tom Cruise in jet pilot outfit.

That is pretty awesome, although I don't think the likeness is quite perfect.

I think the headsculpt on this version would make a good generic older guy sculpt, since it's not immediately recognisable as the actor. For those who like to kitbash original characters, at least.
