An army is only as effective as its mobility, so the Grand Army of the Republic was outfitted with an increasingly varied and versatile vehicle pool as the Clone Wars progressed. The BARC speeder gave clone troopers increased operational range, great speed, mobility, and firepower otherwise unavailable to the foot soldier. A more aggressive and bulkier design than slimmer speeder bikes used by the Jedi, the BARC speeder was used in scouting and escort missions on a variety of worlds. They were easily adaptable, with support struts that could be added to hold a stretcher or sidecar.

The highly-detailed collectible figure is specially crafted based on the appearance of Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper. It features skillfully developed Clone Trooper armor and helmet, a blaster rifle, a satchel bag, and a display base!

The brand new 1/6th scale BARC Speeder measures at 68cm in length and comes with an attachable sidecar armed with articulated blaster. The vehicle has detailed mechanical structure, astonishing paint application with weathering effects, articulated handle bars, and a rocky themed base for variety of poses.

Again, glad I don't collect troopers heh. They do look pretty good.

It's cool and all, but I have zero interest in this. Plus that price....  

I also continue to be annoyed that Hot Toys keep putting out the 'new' Clone Wars stuff from the 'final season' (which I'm not into at ALL because I stubbornly avoid Disney output) instead of earlier Clone Wars material. Oh well, I will just keep customising my own so it doesn't really matter.

I never liked how the Storm Troopers only had 3-4 variations in the OT (pretty much all white except for the black Tie-Fighter pilots), but they were multi-colored, with dozens of helmet variations in the prequels (and of course the sequels); it made no sense to me (other than an excuse to sell more toys) — why would there be so many variations PRIOR to the Empire at the height of its power in the OT…? Like they decided color and helmet variations was just “so last season.” That being said, I really like these Speeders, and could definitely use them for my own Star Wars universe (I guess I could use the Troopers as the bad guys, but it would be nice to just be able to get the vehicles by themselves).

Another gorgeous set, although I prefer the commander version.

Well, I broke down and POd both versions of this vehicle. I’ll probably repaint them both, as I don’t really like the cartoon colors. But I like the design of the vehicles, and I can use them for my personal Star Wars “companions”.

Oooh! Me me me! I have an explanation: It was a natural trend away from individualization and towards standardization and management of "stock". They didn't care to have skillful soldiers. Instead they put their focus on specialized droids for those jobs. It is a form of control that also explains why the storm troopers are such bad shots.
